All jokes aside, this means an offline event. Now at the bottom it says "Paris" and "Winter 2016". So an offline event, in Paris, in around 3 months time ? That's definitely too short for an Iron Squid 3-like tournament. However, if the event actually occurs at the beginning of Winter (say mid-february at the latest ?), that could mean an offline event before WCS Season 1 starts, which could allow korean players to travel and participate. Still, several key questions are left open: where exactly ? Will this event run for a single day/evening, and if so, how will they fit more than a few matches of each game in here ? Will the 2 games occur at the same location and the same day ? Etc... | ||

Haha yeah I know, but I'm impatient, curious, and like to play riddles. So I try making wild guesses and I'll see if I'm close or not in a few hours ! Feel free to give me clues tho ;-p Here's my guess: mostly invite tournament, a few open spots through dedicated online qualifiers. The main tournament will have an online phase (because with WCS, PL, SSL and GSL on break, O'Gaming doesn't have much to cast anymore :-p ) starting in mid January, where we go from like 32 players down to 8 or 4. The rest is offline in mid-February, like a week before the season 1 starts. I really liked the venue of Iron Squid 2, so I'd love for the offline phase to be there again, but I remember something about it being super expensive (I might be wrong), so probably not. | ||
