Actually, I am the one who writes long posts often as a Korean SC2 pro, but I felt shame to do it since I've performed bad as a pro and as a coach since Axiom has performed badly.
In 2015, Axiom and I decided that I take a break from competing tournament and support the team and stream to communicate with fans and show our sponsors to fans.
As you know, Axiom has performed really bad in 2015. Ryung, Impact (when he was in Axiom), Heart qualified GSL, SpoTV but they all lost at high round. I always tried to go to venue with them to support, coach them but it didn't work either.
That makes me sad more since we decide to disband.
Speaking of Axiom's poor performance, we are so bad in 2015. But John and Genna always try to make ideas to continue Axiom and find a way to support their players. Even after John talk to me on skype about his condition, they still worried about us...
They are just too good to us.
As some of you may know, I was the one who was dying and retiring after leaving SlayerS. I can't imagine I could get support, love by fans, and live happily like this if John and Genna didn't help me. I already haven't competed tournament at all, but I wanna announce today I'll completely retire as a SC2 pro. From now on, I'll focus on only caring Axiom until everybody move to their place and find a new team to continue their career.
After everything is done, I may stream until I find another job or other job in eSports. I'm not popular and big streamer but I'll keep it up to support my wife and the family that my best friends John and Genna made. Showing John and Genna all Axiom members are doing well after Axiom disbands is our job to make them relief. I want to thank to ppl who has been cheering, supporting for Axiom and also really sorry that we haven't made good result lately. I really hope everybody will cheer for John and his family to stay stronger.
Thank you and Axiom Fighting
P.S 1: Thanks for reading this. I know you guys might not care of me anymore but I just wanna tell you guys personally too since you guys made me meet John.
P.S 2: As some of you may know, I've streamed for 5 days to earn money for Blizzcon trip. I decide to not go there and send only Olimoley since I have to/want to care of end of the Axiom and I don't think I can enjoy with people and smile in front of people at Blizzcon since the biggest part of my life is disappearing. Since I decided to not go there, I'll refund every donation that I got from you guys for Blizzcon trip. I really appreciate how you guys support me.
P.S 3: If you're interested in Ryung or Heart as a SC2 pro for your team, please contact me or Axiom eSports.
Nice post, very respectful, didn't know Crank was that kind of guy. Hope he himself finds a new home in ESPORTs and is happy after he finds homes for everyone else.
You are awesome Crank and I hope you stay in the scene and wish you the best of luck in all your endeavors. Absolutely loved you all the times you were on BTTV and at Hell its aboot time, You are a incredibly thoughtful and generous person, Thank you for all you've done and Much love <3
It's all a real shame, but it's really great that you and the others involved in this tragic chain of events are trying to be good and positive about it.
Hope you find a good place in esports to settle in soon. Fighting!
I really hope that CranK will find a place in the eSports scene because he's an amazing captain, coach and, most importantly, person. He keeps his fanbase mannered and positive and you can really feel that he cares for his fans even if he barely knows them personally. He also legit cheers for us, the noobs of CranK chat, who try to get decent at the game and he will always answer a question or give some advice. And even though he hasn't shown high results for a while, he's still a great player with a lot of knowledge.
The third sad news. Damn! Crank, best of luck to your future endeavors. Can't say I've been a fan, however it's really sad to see you go. Keep fighting.

I absolutely agree, CranK is a really great person! And he truly cares of people.
Best of luck CranK! In honor of his career, here is one of my favorite CranK VODs: his match against TheStC from WCS America 2013 Season 1 Round of 16:

Crank, I loved your IPL 5 perfomance. I follow you since this tournament and always had great esteem of you. Axiom was great. You didn't performed that well but we always had some of you here and there in the scene. And it was nice to have koreans a bit more open to the foreign scene. It will feel empty without you all.
I wish luck and success to all you in whatever steps you take, and will miss you all.

This just hit me in the feels. TB is a good person and so is everyone on axiom
I don't know about the rest of you, but I think Team Salmon gets stretched a bit thin with all the gigs they're given. I think Afreeca should consider looking for a new English language caster for Code A next year. If only there were someone available who has an excellent knowledge of Starcraft 2, can speak fluent English, and can cast live from their studios.
Crank will be fine. Sure it's sad now that he retired and even sadder considering TBs condition, but Crank is very inteligent and kind guy.He could become full time coach or even caster as mentioned few posts before if he chooses to stay in eSports.
If not,he'll have no problem to do almost whatever he wants, especially since he has Olimoley by his side and together they're invincible dynamic duo, just like John and Genna.
Crank if you'll read this - see you on your next stream but first take care of everything you need/want to do
It speaks to the goodness of everyone involved that, without having been a real Axiom fan leading into these developments, every single one still hit me like a truck.
Best of luck Crank, keep your spirits high if you can.
I wish your career would have last longer - this e-sport needs player like you. Maybe you reached not everything you wished for, but don´t forget you had your own great moments in the game and you gained a lot of good Memories - this is what stays with you, even after your retirement. You are a extremly cool, smart and funny Guy, watching your streams is everytime entertaining. I am sure you have the quality to customize in what ever you want to do next!! I wish you the best for your future and hope to see you on your stream again. FIGHTING
CranK, this was such a great exiting post. I must admit, I haven't really followed the SC2 scene much recently, but your name is well known to most of us. You're a gentleman and a great player; enjoy your retirement.
we love you crank, watched everybody since old gstl days. don't worry about performance vs the tip top. i remember a ryung vs flash on whirlwind that was 45 minutes dead even nailbiter. ryung won.
i got some of you guys to sign my mouse box when i went to MLG in 2012, so i wont forget!
wish everyone at axiom the best and will always remember everyone! <3
