The starcraft scene is so much more enjoyable with Naniwa, mean this sincerely. I hope you find another team or keep streaming/playing in events.
Retirement would be a Nani-waste.
I completely agree with this =)

I didn't even know he was on a team up until a few weeks ago. They sure didn't do a very good job advertising him.

Do they need to though? Either you follow Naniwa and know about it, or not care enough to know.

Naniwa has turned into the milder version of Avilo. GET THOSE SUBS NANI!!!

Spending too much time with Destiny's ex.

how many teams has it been now? He just doesn't get that he himself is the problem.

I watch Naniwa's stream almost everyday he streams for full sessions. He stated on his stream that prOperty treated him like shit. They did not want to support him at all / take him to any events. Not even Dreamhack which is in the same country as he lives. So basically prOperty gets free advertisement from Naniwa but Naniwa didn't get anything in return. PrOperty sucks ass imo

I'm glad to see him in DH Stockholm though. Let's see if he can provide some good games!

Not sure why you care when there isn't much drama in the scene in the first place and Naniwa drama happens pretty infrequently. I don't, really. Feel free to ignore my comments if you like.

Well it was expected somehow .It's well known that Naniwa character is meh...and he has a weak mentality so any real team that signs him will not keep him for long cause of these 2 missing attributes. Still he is so marketable...damn it!! I think he should stick to just solo streaming and trash talk all other foreigners and leave the pro gaming to professionals that actually do really try hard to improve them selves and be better. He is not the beast that he used to be, because of his lack of professional mindset and clear focus on what to do to get better. Unfortunately he is miles behind a top pro gamer at the moment. I honestly think that he doesn't have what it takes to comeback to that mind blowing form he was a while ago. Too bad for his skills and game know how...I put him next to IdrA as an example on how not to do when you wanna stay on top of your game!!!!! PS. I truly was a Nani fan!!!
Its not that he doesnt know how to work hard for being a professional. I think his passion is kind of in an unstable situation. And when you're not absolutely passionate about the game, you simply play worse and dont improve too much, doesnt matter if you train a lot or not. Imagine how it is to have played this game every day so many uncountable times already and you have to keep doing the same again and again. I believe its so hard to keep up the passion as a pro in starcraft (other games are easier for your body, make you less tired, and have more flexibility in it, easier to keep up the passion IMO) and i dont blame any professional who just finally retires due to not enjoying this profession anymore. although i dont think thats the end of naniwa. he might keep streaming, maybe search another team. but hes not going to get back to the top like 2 years ago again

Guys whoever watched Nanis stream would know that Property has basically not filled their part of the bargain for Nani.
Naniwa had said when he signed and returned that he needed time to get back in the game and get results, and that he didn't expect to achieve much very early on. Property had said that they respected this, it seems they even talked of sending him to Korea and things like that.
I also suspect although I'm not sure) they ended up not paying him his salary in later stages, and basically he couldn't do much about it because of his contract.
Property should have either not given Naniwa a bunch of promises they couldn't keep themselves, or not signed him.
The fact that he missed a plane could have happened to anyone, and not qualifying for WCS when he was the last pick in both challanger rounds, and went up against good PvP players in both rounds, is something anyone in any team should understand is partly a bit of bad luck.

Not enough drama. I want more drama.

How do you unfan yourself from someone? Makes no sense. Saying Nani doesn't work as hard as other foreign pros is just wrong. Whenever I watch his stream (which is pretty often) he always has more wins/games than any other pro. He has like 600 wins on his main account a couple months into the season. If you look at the ladder now, he has more wins than anybody in the top 10. I wouldn't read too much into this. Property probably just downsizing their roster. Nani is one of those guys with a lot of talent. I expect him to do very well in Legacy. Yes you can unfan yourself so easy....when the one you "follow" and admire has become extremely arogant at a mediocre level of gameplay.Don't confuse ladder grinding with actual results in a tournamnet.I'm not saying that he is bad or something, just that he doesn't prove that he is good when it matters.Combine this with his "stinky" attitude and you have a recipe for "unfaning". There are so many examples of pro gamers that are close to Naniwa's level (SC2 skillz and stuff) , but who managed to keep their fans with their profi attitude. (Snute,Huk,MC...etc.....i won't put Flash here... ) Team Property has made the right decision if the rumors are true.Since he joined them I didn't see him compete on any tournament.Every emplyer will judge you by your attitude and your results.Naniwa has 0 on both of them , today!!

Today, Naniwa lacks most of these things along with DISCIPLINE!!! Why do you think Koreans are better at SC2?.....it's because all of those things mentioned above.

My first impresion of the thread title was that Naniwa left his house or something...

I expected this a bit earlier after ROG...
