the only reason for naniwa to join liquid is so they can produce a "goofus and gallant" series on how to behave vs how not to behave starring him and snute

Naniwa just announced that he will not attend DH. Mainly because of the amount of Koreans and the things that are (not) going on with his team right now.

All I ever associate now with Naniwa is some kind of childish drama. I kind of hope he just leaves sc2 behind, maybe esports altogether and just gets a job somewhere else where we don't have to hear about all his shenanigans

Not at all jealous. What should I be jealous of?

In truly professional environments, people get fired for a lot less than all of Naniwa's temper tantrums... In fact, I have fired people for less, and would do so again.

Well that's a bummer. He probably wasn't at a high enough skill level yet anyway, but I was curious to see how he would do.

What's with all you haters though. Seriously. Wouldn't it be nice to have more of the old foreign players doing well and sticking around? New talent is doing well lately, but the more the merrier.

edit: well whatever. Naniwa has always had so many haters (and it's partly justified). Actually the low post count of this thread is kind of a testament to how off the radar he's been lately.

If he wants another team I hope he gets it, I would love to see him in more tournaments, probably the player I would be most excited to see.

It was pretty weird reading how a bunch of ppl think he doesn't have the right mentality to improve/learn...he is/was one of if not the best person outside of korea for improving at SC2 and he has proven it a bunch of times.

Well it was expected somehow .It's well known that Naniwa character is meh...and he has a weak mentality so any real team that signs him will not keep him for long cause of these 2 missing attributes. Still he is so marketable...damn it!!
I think he should stick to just solo streaming and trash talk all other foreigners and leave the pro gaming to professionals that actually do really try hard to improve them selves and be better.
He is not the beast that he used to be, because of his lack of professional mindset and clear focus on what to do to get better. Unfortunately he is miles behind a top pro gamer at the moment. I honestly think that he doesn't have what it takes to comeback to that mind blowing form he was a while ago.
Too bad for his skills and game know how...I put him next to IdrA as an example on how not to do when you wanna stay on top of your game!!!!!
PS. I truly was a Nani fan!!!

How do you unfan yourself from someone? Makes no sense.

Saying Nani doesn't work as hard as other foreign pros is just wrong. Whenever I watch his stream (which is pretty often) he always has more wins/games than any other pro. He has like 600 wins on his main account a couple months into the season. If you look at the ladder now, he has more wins than anybody in the top 10.

I wouldn't read too much into this. Property probably just downsizing their roster. Nani is one of those guys with a lot of talent. I expect him to do very well in Legacy.

Yes you can unfan yourself so easy....when the one you "follow" and admire has become extremely arogant at a mediocre level of gameplay.Don't confuse ladder grinding with actual results in a tournamnet.I'm not saying that he is bad or something, just that he doesn't prove that he is good when it matters.Combine this with his "stinky" attitude and you have a recipe for "unfaning".
There are so many examples of pro gamers that are close to Naniwa's level (SC2 skillz and stuff) , but who managed to keep their fans with their profi attitude. (Snute,Huk,MC...etc.....i won't put Flash here... )
Team Property has made the right decision if the rumors are true.Since he joined them I didn't see him compete on any tournament.Every emplyer will judge you by your attitude and your results.Naniwa has 0 on both of them , today!!

When did Nani "become" arrogant? It seems to me he's always had the same personality. This seems to be a case of you following him when his results were good. I wouldn't call that being a fan. Real fans stick it out when the going gets rough.

Being top 10 on the most competitive ladder outside Korea isn't grinding. It's talent. Grinding is playing a lot of games.

Nani gets higher stream numbers than any of the players you listed which is a big indicator he hasn't lost his fans as you say.

Your claims that Nani doesn't " prepare, plan, learn, improve, listen, and watch" are totally ludicrous and border on slander. I can guarantee you he does all of those things since he often streams it. What are your qualifications anyway? Nani has been a professional player for long enough to know what he needs to improve better than some random. Would you tell Lebron James how to train? Hell no.

I will say I wish he would compete more. It's almost seems like he's scared of the booth. But for all we know, as said in this thread, maybe his team WASN'T WILLING to send him.

I clearly mentioned that he is arrogant at a mediocre level of play.Years ago he was arrogant but he was good for that time.He used to kick ass and demolish koreans.Today he is miles behind in skill and know how vs the top koreans. Don't give the bullshit about the number 1 on the ladder. In SC2 you have to prove yourself in tournaments.
You're saying that he knows how to improve?....Recent results: 0. So i stand behind to my ideea that he doen't know how to keep up with the proven pro gamers and he is affraid of competition, which proves that he is weak mentaly.Have you read why he will not attend DH Stockholm?...too many Koreans.

My conclusion , to fuel the drama :Naniwa is done.He cannot come back and he will probably stick with his stream and trash talk everything that will put him in bad light.......of course at a mediocre level of play!!!!

This is the proper mindset for a pro. "Competition too good". I think we should limit Bundesliga to Bayern Munich only, they are the only ones with a chance of winning anyways. Haha xD
