I remember the video he made a couple of years ago where he vowed to practice "x" number of hours everyday, go to the gym, etc etc. I guess it was his manifesto(?) of sorts- a vow to be great again. Hate it didn't work out for him, but gg's none the less.

Man, I was literally only thinking a couple of days ago how much I missed seeing so many European players, and particularly Strelok. I checked out a whole bunch of Liquipedia pages to make sure they hadn't retired with an announcement that flew under the radar. I was stoked that Strelok was still active...

i met Strelok at WCG Cologne 2008. He's a great gu, he's gonna be missed. What i miss most today are those great foreign players from back in the day, good times :D
My biggest memory of Strelok is when he after a map-defeat started grabbing after his notebook to read ( i think) what notes he had on the player and if he missed anything, looked so funny ;D was in a wcs group play if i remember correct. Well farewell and glhf with whatever u decide to do with the rest of your life!
