Well we don't know the details, but I don't think it would have been a big issue to wait until 1h/1h30, or even better to give like 1 map to JAGW each 30 minutes, like it happened in the past. Saying that it's ST's fault is true, but it is not ST's fault alone. When you're trapped in a tunnel with a car accident there is not much you can do.

Of course you can blame kespa. There are solutions to such problems like giving Jinair a mapwin or something like that. Almost every tournament rules have a passus which includes something like: "The tournament rules can be changed or expanded by the organisation at any point". This is for a reason: sometimes rules don't match reality so the fairer solution in some cases can be breaking the rules.
Furthermore, I consider that some kind of Code A must be reestablished.

i'm pretty sure that in any major competitive sport if an entire team's airplane were delayed the team wouldn't be DQed for not showing up. how is a traffic problem different? are they just supposed to, like, floor it? start doing sick jumps over the other cars? how early do they have to leave to be considered "responsible"? 30 minutes early? 2 hours early? a day early? sometimes shit actually does just happen, man.

Other organisations have scheduling issues as well. Still there were re-scheduled matches in soccer, for example, if one of the team couldn't arrive in time because of an incident that wasn't their fault.
Do you really think a champions league game would be cancelled, if one of the teams couldn't be there in time, because some storm prevented their plane to start?
As far as I know something like that even happened to Barcelona a few years back.

Bizarre, I don't see how starting with a relatively minor delay is less preferable than cancelling an entire series.

Disappointing doesn't cover it, ST-Yoe have got their shit together this round and I was looking forward to seeing what they could have done in the Playoffs

I mean nobody wants to admit they eat 9 cans of ravioli, but I did and I'm ashamed of myself. The first can doesn't count and then you get to the second, and the third. The fourth and fifth I think I burnt with the blow torch and I just kept eating.
