It's Asian traffic, after all. The thing is JAGW was still there to claim the bye. They did not arrive late. A car accident normally doesn't affect everyone. Maybe JAGW didn't have to drive through that tunnel that was blocked? And ofc ST did apologize and accepted the def-loss. What else should they do? I just think basically EVERY organisatio in every field accepts a traffic accident as an excuse - beside Kespa. And kespa accepts delays as well - as long as it affects a kespa-team. That's the main issue here, imo .

If for whatever reason they can't and are greatly delayed (whatever time they usually take as margin plus half an hour), well, it's sad, but you can't blame JAGW or Kespa for that. In fact, nobody does but some angry fans.

Well we don't know the details, but I don't think it would have been a big issue to wait until 1h/1h30, or even better to give like 1 map to JAGW each 30 minutes, like it happened in the past. Saying that it's ST's fault is true, but it is not ST's fault alone. When you're trapped in a tunnel with a car accident there is not much you can do.

In fact, nobody does but some angry fans. Of course you can blame kespa. There are solutions to such problems like giving Jinair a mapwin or something like that. Almost every tournament rules have a passus which includes something like: "The tournament rules can be changed or expanded by the organisation at any point". This is for a reason: sometimes rules don't match reality so the fairer solution in some cases can be breaking the rules.

In fact, nobody does but some angry fans. Other organisations have scheduling issues as well. Still there were re-scheduled matches in soccer, for example, if one of the team couldn't arrive in time because of an incident that wasn't their fault. Do you really think a champions league game would be cancelled, if one of the teams couldn't be there in time, because some storm prevented their plane to start? As far as I know something like that even happened to Barcelona a few years back.

I'd go even further and say that ever tournament rule should have a passus that deals exactly with a situation like this. And DQ shouldn't be the way to do it.
