It seems plainly worse for everyone who was a dedicated GSL competitor in recent history and just lost their auto-seed, and it looks like there is no Code A.. so what there is to even fight for in Korea just slimmed down that much more. I'm already over it and looking forward to the games, but I'm definitely not a fan of these changes. Otherwise region lock would have been unfair for those who dropped everything to go to other regions. It probably also had to do with SSL, but mostly a result from the region lock. Otherwise you might have had alot of Koreans say, f it I wait a year for the forgg exception rule to apply. But players outside of Korea showed everytime they met Code S players, that last year being Code S didn't mean alot. So a fresh start does just the same as if the top Koreans would have to dig their way through Code B and A hell. Takes a few seasons in either case to make it a true Code S again.

So this is definitely a good thing for now.

I disagree, TvP often has the same (in my opinion boring to watch) "let's clash my colossus heavy army into your bio viking ball and see who comes out alive" or "let's clash my bio viking scv ball into your colossus heavy army before you have storm" endgame. PvZ on the other hand has way more tech switches in it, which is (for me) way way way more entertaining to watch. Edit: Not saying there's no interesting TvP games, I just don't like how the match-up works most of the time.

Either its some sort of early aggression from the protoss (ussually oracle/blink stalkers) or it goes into death ball protoss vs bio+viking composition. PvZ is less linear in terms of builds and seems to have a wider variation of effective strategies.

Meanwhile the like of Maru, Gumiho, PartinG all more or less trained under KeSPA for quite some time I know it's funny (& nostalgic) for some to brought this up but some dudes actually try to discuss this seriously lol

I wouldnt go too far: While i think most people will see TvT better then ZvZ; TvP is just the same game all game, while PvZ can become really really exiting. You got everything: Fast pased games with All ins, techheavy games, hardcore techswitches and extremly long attrition fights. And PvP is so fast, that it is really intense even in 1 Base vs 1 Base. For me it is TvZ, PvZ, TvT, PvP, TvP and then ZvZ.
