Excellent post. Some people just really like crapping on foreigners and/or people in general. It's silly. yep. and don't get me wrong, he can disagree that vortix is the best foreigner and disagree that vortix's play today was impressive. anyone can post any opinion. but daftfunk's post came off as very bitter and spiteful, which is something i see a lot from naysayers in discussions about "foreign hopes." his post could have easily said "good result for vortix, but i'm personally skeptical about how strong he is" or something constructive. no need to crap on people's joy. even if vortix retired tomorrow, those 4 games were still a blast to watch! Because ur memory only lasts a few weeks and every time a new tourney a foreigner does well in, he's considered the new best foreigner. And u are only excited that "a foreigner" did so impressive today, not "a strong player". Pretty much divides everyone by race/ nationality now and isn't about skill anymore, but what country u are from. IMO, it isn't the greatest accomplishment getting out of a group stage. Maybe we can save the best foreigner crap until after the semis or somewhere near it. Again, beating Mvp doesn't make someone the greatest, he's lost to other foreigners before and vortix was always known as a patch zerg in 2013 did u just conveniently forget that or just not accept that really was his nickname? No where in here are ppl saying " wow mma is amazing is he back to top form???," just "omg vortix is greatest foreigner look at that drone mine dodge trick he stole from Snute omgomg" and I never mentioned Scarlett or naniwa but he isn't anywhere near accomplished as them. He's the first foreigner to win a Korean-heavy tournament in like a billion years. hes won the vasacast tourney that had 6 / 32 koreans. what is this "Korean-heavy" that you speak of? again, race/nationality dividing. keep proving my point
where he put out 4 of the 6, your original post was that he beat 1 "washed up terran," then you say how quickly people forget and move on... but the washed up terran is wcs season champ last year. and patch zerg was from 2012, you know, before hots... lastly its always a storyline when foreigners beat Koreans because of how little it happens, its not a dividing issue but just a recurring theme that all foreign countries (Europe and Americas) seem to get behind together. don't know about this dividing of nationalities argument you half hazardly threw out in your later posts but seems quite a stretch. people were excited over good games and a streak and you came to rain on the parade, salty.

Hasn't any sport always been about what country you are from? Olympics? World cup? Isn't that a normal thing?

Wow. So impressed with Vortix. Not even dropping a single map.

Vortix looking to be in pretty good shape, although I would love to see how he he holds up in some other match-ups than ZvT. From the games that i've watched (note: not all of them) he's living off the success of his ZvT pretty much entirely right now.

that gif is just a true reflection of how skilled vortix is when he's focussed. it would be nice to see him win big

So awesome, Vortix has always been a great player; even in his "slump" last year he was getting creative and making consistent appearances in the later rounds of tournaments. Hope he can make a splash in the knockout rounds!

VORTIXXXXX. He impressed me in wings too. Funny thing is he slumped HARD and he's back.

I'm not sure what's make me laugh more... the ignorance of people around here or the "always so funny" TL prediction. Both maybe linked.
GG vortix, that's all.

I hope Vortix can pass through protosses. I have no doubt he will beat any terran but since protoss are so strong right now I have my doubt on him beating a protoss.

With guys like Vortix and Nerchio you have to remember they aren't full time, so they won't really touch the game for a while sometimes. Even more impressive they are the ones giving Koreans a run for their money.

So much wrong in your post but this is the worst. Left me with a picture of VortiX playing amazing games, destroying nerds left and right, and then coming out to an unimpressed crowd going like "you know, when every zerg looked good, you looked good just like every other zerg"... Oh-Fucking-Really?
We don't have to accept it was his nickname. You have to accept it's irrelevant.

MMA "lucked" his way to EU season 3 champ? My god, that man should buy a lottery ticket if he's that lucky!

You mean the Super Tournament where Polt beat MMA 4-0 in the finals?
scratch that, your post is so irredeemably bad I don't even know where to start.

I would have liked to hear what Lucifron is up to. SC2 all over for him, still playing on a casual basis, or just taking a break from pro-gaming?
