It's not a poll for "Most important SC2 personality", I hope people bear that in mind. What you bolded is the part that confuses me. Are you genuinely saying he is the most prolific and dedicated sc2 streamer of 2013? Can you really say he put in more effort then Day9 to the sc2 scene? Considering Day9 got featured in Forbes for his work in sc2 I'm going to give you some time to develop a well worded reply to this.

Favorite New Streamer of 2013- Jaedong, its just fun to watch one of the legendary players, play the game. Even though I am not a zerg player, I am a fan of the game and it is awesome. Best Community Channel of 2013-I went with JP on this one, I just like watching his stuff. Not so much because of state of the game anymore, but I like watching him do play throughs of games and rolleplay is entertaining. Most Educational Stream-Day9 because I mean who else comes up with fun ways to teach me how to play better. Granted I don't watch that much anymore, but when I need inspiration he usually has a daily for me. Favorite StarCraft II Stream-I went with Demuslim I play terran, and he plays terran. I have learned a lot from watching him, and he generally provides a really good interactive stream. I also wanted to vote for TLO, grubby, and Catz because these are all players I watch often. But I suppose terran pride (PS why is destiny winning he plays LoL often too, and isn't even a pro, I just don't think he deserves to be on it when there are far more players who should be, like select for example. But he has a huge fan base of die hard fans so I am sure he will get votes and win.... ![]() Favorite Diablo III Stream- I really didn't know who to go for because I don't see any point in watching D3, I just play it....lol So grats Archon the Wizard you got my vote lol. Favorite Hearthstone Stream- Haven't really been into hearthstone, I didn't really find it that fun so I don't really watch it, but voted for Artosis because he actually has shows and stuff about it that have been interesting. Favorite WoW Stream-Same as D3 If i want to do anything with WoW I will play it(which I haven't since lich king). Watching it is well boring...so grats LegendaryLea I randomly chose you lol!

I think there has been around 50+ different streamers on snipealot2, but it's the same 15~ or so being restreamed over and over. Another nice thing about afreeca is that there is always good content on - either live or rebroadcasts.

The awards feature categories for each of the popular Blizzard franchises and is decided by popular vote, adding suspense and excitement for nominees like Sean “Day9″ Plott, who hopes that winning an award could finally help him gain some exposure in the scene. nominees like Sean “Day9″ Plott, who hopes that winning an award could finally help him gain some exposure in the scene. Sean “Day9″ Plott, who hopes that winning an award could finally help him gain some exposure in the scene Sean “Day9″ Plott [...] help him gain some exposure I shit you not, I laughed so hard. Out of everyone on that list (Day9 isn't in the favorite StarCraft II Stream), who else is as prolific a streamer as Destiny? Streaming is his job so that plays a huge role, but I don't think it's anything to get worked up about or surprised by should he win these contests. Mind you I voted for Grubby, but even he is sporadic in streaming due to other obligations.

He is a dedicated streamer. You might not like his content, his games aren't the best quality but I don't think anyone can argue that his stream has the most content. He interacts a tonnes with chat. He would raise up debates of politics or economics and invite the qualified people from chat to debate on Skype, while he is playing sc2 and acting as a host. He streams his chats with his friends like desrow and catz. He shares a lot about his life, too much sometimes. He talks hot topics like bitcoin. He is controversial. When people tune in his stream, they are not expecting hardcore sc2 contents nonstop or top level game play etc. They are expecting more than just sc2 or games. That's why he is popular. No other stream (at least as far as sc2 goes) provides such a rich experience. Most dedicated sc2 streamer. He is a sc2 streamer and he certainly is dedicated to his streaming which is why his stream has so much content. His stream is not the most dedicated to sc2 and I think that's what you don't like about him being ranked 1?

I though he only recently started sc2 streaming in the past couple months. Not all of 2013. That was the only other thing I was unclear of. If he's doing a great job then he deserves it. Again thanks for informing me! ![]()

Under the satire, it does make an interesting point that these awards are a little like the ESL $100k winner-take-all tournament. Just the rich getting richer. There is little chance that up-and-coming streamers would dethrone some of these leading streamers in future years, so there is little reason to believe that the award would change in future years, if repeated. That being said, I gave props to Trump and NL_Kripp in the voting. Didn't feel strongly about the SC2 streamer awards, D3, or the WoW streamer awards (I would have given it to Ducksauce, honestly). Hard to pick the community stream, however.

Combined with a broader familiarity due to his time spent streaming for other communities (such as LoL), he's doing well early on in the voting.
