I have to say SC2 movement looks like how WC3 went down. I guess soon GSTL will reduce amount games required to BO5 or BO3 per team matches.

I thought Free and Zero are gonna overtake Sea next season in total number of PL wins. Now Light is the only one that has a chance to IIRC.

sorry but light already retired a few days ago. http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=429391

LOL so many retirements, can't keep up! Looks like Sea got that 5th place secured.

I guess you know about Woongjin's financial issues, which most likely caused this?

I wouldn't be surprised if WJS still goes to the Grand Finals in the next PL with SK/S0S maining for the team. Probably they only pay them, and the swift-hammer-kassia trio just stayed for free.

Hm, well this is quite shoking. But on the other hand, wasn't it told on the day of the cataclysm, that teams would focus on smaller sc2 rosters in the future? I feel like most teams won't have more than 8 or 10 players in the future and to be quite frank that's enough. 5 is very little though.
Maru and Serral are probably top 5.

It just feels like the koreans are leaving the game in a major scale with all these pro BW players retiring, but we musn't forget, the game is basicly completely different. We should be glad that we get to witness the likes of Flash and JD still playing.

Ultimately, if the game stays interesting, there will also be an influx of new pro players. But the question is, will these live up to the standards of the old BW players? It feels like their tryhard practice style is needed. Complacency will take over if they go away. Also, 3 years have passed now, and we're not even close to seeing a player that'll really be the stuff of legends (i.e, no bonjwa). That makes SC2 feels like a bad little brother to BW.

Meh, here I go, summarizing what's already probably the public opinion =P
