I also think I'll have it prioritize showing IEM related events for the game changers, as a special IEM edition update. But for now I must take a nap before GSL.

This is IEMs way of trying to patch-up their grievous mistake of not giving Revival an auto-qual initially.

I agree he deserves it more than Flash but he took a EU qualifier spot, doesn't make any sense.

Yeah I agree it doesnt make much sense =/ , maybe IEM is saying EU got TLO? That would be dumb too... Idk, I just think that even tho its pretty dumb, Revival DID deserve the spot.

It does seem a little random of them to just jump to Revival instead of asking Nerchio but it is slightly justifiable. Still feel that it probably should've been offered to EU.

No way, he got 6 seeds? I feel like it was more like 4. 3 code A and 1 Code S?

Inviting based on WCS points is stupid in the first place (let's give the ones with the most WCS points a chance to get even more WCS points) and it's not what happened here. I think either IEM was looking to invite someone that for sure will accept (in this case Revival due to his WCS ranking) or something even shadier is going on.

If he has the skill he will go through considering the number of tournaments outside of wcs he's sent to in order to get extra points. People are talking about Revival's 'charity spot' being dump. Well, talk about charity spots.

Well, talk about charity spots. You make $0-1000 if given a seed to GSL. You make $10k just by playing in Blizzcon. Blizzcon is the only one, biggest tournament of the year. There were 9 GSLs in 2011. If GSL are giving out seeds to foreigners, they pretty much have to go with Naniwa and may be one or two others IEM has 20 other choices beside Revival, the most controlversial one. The two situations aren't comparable in anyway. Also, Naniwa was seeded in GSL for doing well in foreign tournaments, so not all of them were charity.

If revival doesn't win iem ny he won't pass mvp either. Season finals is likely to dominated by all those players who are already above mvp in ranking, so 97 percent looks about right to me. Also about the seeding, iem didn't consider the possibility that grubby/nerchio might be willing pay for their own plane tickets
