Is that stork shoutout the greatest thing to happen to you?
it has to be lol
but really I never get why people never took to an entire team rather than just one person,I mean I get that individual players and leagues came way before there were any truly established teams and teamleagues but after a while I thought people would appreciate everyone on a team than just the Ace ,not saying I never fanboy'd on Flash but it was nothing compared how hard I fanboy'd the whole team of KT.
I get where you're coming from. I fanboy for IM as a whole more than a single player, though I have my obvious favourites. As much as I love other players from other teams, I'll never cheer for them against anyone in an IM jersey, no matter when they signed with us. If you're in an IM jersey, you're my favourite person, no matter what.
awwww, Mvp is probably gonna be my fav progamer of all time. that smile just warms up my heart everytime, it doesn't matter if it was a roll over 4-0 or a tense 4-3, he would just show us a big happy smile when he wins also he is the reason why I off raced as terran lol

You are a fan of Mvp because he is on IM (among other reasons).
I am a fan of IM because that is the team that supports Mvp. That's the main difference, really.
It's just that, for me, Mvp transcends everything. Even if every other IM player dropped out of WCS, as long as Mvp won another championship, I would be grinning from ear to ear. And conversely, even if every single IM player was doing fantastically and winning left and right, as long as Mvp is out, I would feel sad and unmotivated to watch, though I would still be cheering for IM.
So many cool and awesome stories, and I feel like I can related to almost everyone saying these things. Its funny that I also root for almost all of the pro gamers mentioned in this article, I was first mystified by Mvp's magic, awe struck by DRG's fantastic TvZ, had my mind blown by Bomber, dazzled by PartinG's storms, dumbfounded by Life's ling control.
And even to this day I don't know which one of them I love more. Probably the terrans since I'm a terran myself, but still, seeing DRG do well again for the first time in a long time, seeing that smile, full of pure joy, was so awesome. Again I feel like I can relate to a lot of superfans because my favorite players embody a lot of qualities I deeply admire, confidence, tenacity, perseverance, discipline, willpower. Going to the bring of oblivion (obscurity), being down in the dumps and yet having the power to claw yourself out of that misery and pull yourself back into championship winning shape is probably the most beautiful thing I can think of, regardless of whether it was accomplished by Mvp, Bomber or DRG.
Whenever they do great I cheer, I fist pump and I jump to the edge of my seat, when they are struggling I feel tense and scared, when they lose I feel disappointed and shitty. And I must be one of the few fans that was disappointed when Mvp won WCS EU or Bomber WCS S2 Finals, not because they had won, but because the music score and the award ceremony failed to live up to their level of epicness, to make that special moment into a magical one.
Yep, I am a superfan and, while it is a painful experience a lot of times, those rare moments of magic make it all worth it.
