I think you can find plenty of nice houses in that area that are 3000-4000sqft for about $2000-$2500, So, unless they went bigger than that (which is pretty fucking big) then you would be correct. However, the deposit could be higher than average which would put their rent in a reasonable price range. Also, there are rental places that add extra to the deposit or tact onto the rent when multiple adults that aren't from the same family are going to be renting from the same place. If that is the case, then I would say they got a pretty good deal considering that they probably found a place with a lot of square footage.

Is there anyone coaching? Without a coach to keep everyone in check, this house will be a fail sooner or later. Really should get a coach or someone to manager around the house. In case you haven't noticed Korean team houses always have some authority there keeping everybody focused on training, it's not just bunch of friends living together and playing sc2.

Isn't the security deposit / rent very high? I don't know about prices in the US, but for example you could rent a house in Germany, Düsseldorf (quiet expensive) with 230m² for 2100€/month or a 200m² living-space and a total of 1200m² area for 3000€.

Seems quiet expensive in the us? :o I wish them best of luck :-) Wish I could live in a Gaming house as well T_T
