This is almost worse than an announcement of an announcement.
I believe KT stepped in and put a stop to this after FlaSh lost to Puzzle (or was it Arthur?). They didn't want people memorizing his strats.
That's quite the speculation.
I thought it was confirmed at some point by an article, but I'm too lazy to go and dig it up. Hard to devise your own strats when you're god and everyone wants to watch.
I have not heard of such an article, and it would not make sense for KT, business wise, to make an announcement like that and then simply not follow through.

When your best player, and arguably one of the best players in the world loses and you believe the reason is because he's broadcasting his strategies on the air for free, what would you do? Flash brings much more to KT than Razer does to Flash/KT. KT (with all respect to Razer) doesn't need Razer whatsoever.

They have no reason to believe that though, as he never even started streaming. Secondly, they made a deal with razer/twitch to start these streams ( Flash and a KT team stream); by not following through with that deal they could potentially lose the sponsorship (money), and make future sponsors less likely to want to deal with them.

He did start streaming though, then, allegedly, KT told him to stop.

He already started streaming? You seem to be the only person who has seen or heard of that happening. You say that 'allegedly' his team told him to stop streaming; according to who?

It was after his loss to Puzzle, trying to find what tournament/event that was in.
It was all PR to get people to watch the interview he did and buy razer products!!! I highly doubt we'll see him stream anytime soon if ever with WCS constantly going on. He still has to work his ass off if he wants to have a chance to make the end of year global finals at blizzcon

Ehm, i believe he needs to win both Code S and S3 finals to have a shot at getting to top 16 now, no? He even needs to place high in couple of other tournaments i think.

You're confused. He wasn't streaming personally in the IEM shanghai qualifiers.. The official casters were streaming his matches and KT told them to stop. Carmac explained that it was a unique case and they would normally never let a team dictate whether tournament organizers can stream a players matches or not.

KT asked IEM to not broadcast the 2nd game between Puzzle and Flash, and the third game.

Yup he's got 800 WCS points currently so he is kinda boned unless he steps it up in his secret training. Right now ForGG is at 1925 WCS points in 16th and stephano has 2025 WCS points in 15th. However, stephano is retiring and won't be attending blizzcon so ForGG will move to 15th and TLO with 1900 WCS points moves into 16th. You get 1500 for winning a regional finals points and 3000 for winning the season global finals.

Ok, I am confused then. Why'd KT tell them to stop? What was the problem?
I feel like there was something said related to this regarding his personal stream though too.

There was nothing regarding his personal stream.
KT asked them to stop because they had Proleague Playoffs the following week

...So what you're saying is...he has a chance? :D
He has a chance in that he COULD make it, but it's really not probable
