I don't see why people expect something radically different from what happened to Jaedong's stream. Actually a lot of expected what happened to JD's stream. I gave it a month (actually I gave it several weeks) and I wasn't far off, but that's beside the point. There are a lot of other things to appeal to the masses besides streaming.

I wonder how many viewers there will be... at least 20k hopefully. 10k, at best. Yes sadly... but i would watch every second of it... IdrA has 10k viewers RIGHT NOW. If Flash's stream is announced a few days beforehand so that everyone knows exactly when to sit their asses down in front of their computer to watch Flash show the world how he plays the game we all love, I am sure that his stream will hit very high numbers, if not reach new sc2-related records when it comes to personal streams. On other subjects: I really hope he only streams once or twice. For one, the amount of viewers will diminish the more he streams and it might hurt his regular practice. We can't know for sure though, but I really hope he doesn't stream much. idra is the 2nd most popular sc2 player. Jaedong would be a good indicator, he started at like what 12-15k but nowadays at about 3k? I dont see why flash would be any different. At Flash's level, depending on frequency and length of the sessions, I think even a regular 50k+ viewers is possible . We have to consider the viewers from Korea(deal exclusive to Razer/Twitch AFAIK) and other parts of the world too. We are talking about the legendary Flash live streaming his practice FPVOD for the first time in history, now that's got to mean something every SC fans in the world! And if he happens to enter GOD MODE in SC2 during this streaming deal...gosh $_$. Just hope Twitch can withstand the bandwidth. I think you are way overestimating that number. As much as I would love being proven wrong, 50k is only a singular dream. Jaedong is every bit iconic as Flash is in the Starcraft world. Even if Flash may be more popular or well known, he will never consistently get 50k. Not to mention Korea generally does not really like SC2 as well as timezone differences. I would guess he will have similar streaming results as JD, perhaps slightly better or even lots better but never close to 50k. I can see him peaking at 25k-30k when he first starts streaming, though. JD's first session could have been better advertised, so I hope Flash's is done better. His stream will probably have similar viewership as Stephano's. I hope I eat my words, and the whole world tunes in. ![]() Pretty much this, i laughed at the +50k prediction though, it's totally unrealistic, not even top LoL streamers can pull those numbers.
