What are you talking about? Neeb doesn't play EU haha

I will watch the shit out of this tourney. VIbe is going to roflstomp some fools (if he can make top 16 in ladder, he is on Korea a lot)
I will stop watching WCS NA if all of the NA players are knocked out because it was poorly handled by blizzard.
These tourney's will help grow the scene. I think if they expand it to people who ARE living in the united states in a permanent basis (like have their permanent home there for like 6 months out of the year or something) it will help the competition. Having polt demuslim in the tourney in the 2nd iteration of the tourney (and I feel this will be successful enough to warrant a 2nd one)

Thats sweet! Hope so!

It ends at midnight PST? It would be great to know, pulling an all nighter to make sure I qualify.

I think you have to be the owner of the account, not sure though. Scarlett borrows accounts sometimes.

scanned the post, havent seen anything, anyone have any idea who TB was talking about when he said people were trading wins and forcing ties against each other to not lose points?

For the forced ties, it's very easy to find in the match history. There were I think at least 6 players who have an obviously forced tie on their records.

thats a shame, ill take a peek at ladder when i log into sc2. cant really blame them though i guess since there was no established rule against it. but for how quick you and GB got this tourney together its not gonna be perfect but its looking pretty damn close, GL to everyone involved hope it turns out well and becomes a scheduled event/tournament every season.

NonY is laddering now as well and they just met up on ladder. This is more exciting than the actual tournament.

are there regularly updating standings anywhere?

Negative. You are extremely close however.
In the last hour I'll be streaming to keep people up to date on everything.
http://sc2links.com/blog/ < This blog post is accurate in terms of who is eligible and who is not. None of the barcodes or Anonymous are in the running. The rankings on there are not up to date though.
A note to players. There is the possibility that members of the Top 16 may decline to play. We will be sending out official invites as well as requests for identification after the ladder resets. If a player declines then the 17th, 18th etc in line will be invited until we have a full roster.
