Yes the post was a tad heated and yes DoA could have been more concise that there would be no english stream from OGN but beyond that Im not really seeing the misinformation here. Obviously one should consider DoA's statements biased but to assume that kespa is the valiant defender of all things good and true is kinda naive. | ||

Well, of course they were planning their own english broadcasts all along. In the end - that was (and afaik still is) actually the issue between kespa and ogn. You are imo missing the cause and consequence. Cause - Kespa wants their own stream/casters also for weekend matches (that are btw free hd and vods). Consequence - English broadcasts from OGN in jeopardy. | ||

It's simple really, when you're working with a business, you don't air your dirty laundry in public. This goes doubly when you have no leverage. People can whine about it, but that's life. | ||

Assuming they are the spawn of the devil and everything they do is evil is equally naive. Considering how drama-driven ESPORTS has become, you don't need to be a genius to figure what's gonna happen when you throw fuel to the fire. The shitstorm and cospiracy theories that followed DOA's post is a good display you can easily get what you want and mislead with one sided info (of ONGOING negotiations) without having to actively do much. DOA's "I am not going to ask you to boycott, buut" wording doesn't help either. | ||

What DOA said is that there are no more plans of an OGN English broadcast. But that didn't stop people from "deducing" there are no more English broadcasts. Or that KeSPA is throwing OGN under the bus to favor MLG. | ||
