Interesting line up. I love that we have to trade for 2 sets of games rather than just one. Decisions decisions.

Not the greatest start to fantasy after the first week for me. Made some blunders and KHAN's loss to Team 8 was quite a bit of surprise unfortunately. Still wish Stork was used for that ace match, I was fairly confident he could've won that. Sending Shine was kind of questionable. Oh well. My bad research ended up with soO on my anti team which was costly. That will be a mistake I have to remedy soon. And Flying just had to go for 2 base mothership build ~_~.

Let's take a look at this week's line ups.

Here's a subtle interesting things to note.

hon_Sin, Mind and SongDuri are being sent out on Arkanoid again after being sent for that map last week. None of 3 of them got to play their match last week due to not getting to the 6th game. This week they are guaranteed to play as it's the 4th map. Interesting to see what builds they've been practicing non-stop for this match.

Rain gets two more PvPs. Dang.

My trades this week.
Anti Team
soO for Best. Best is playing vs ZerO and BaBy. I think he could lose both those matches. soO is probably favored in both. Not to mention I got Terminator/Sang already on my anti team, who will be playing vs soO. I'm basically guaranteed -4 if I don't get rid of one of them and hope the one i kept lose.

Main team none.
I feel pretty good about Stork and herO's match ups. I feel a bit shaky about Flying. I've got Crazy-Hydra as well though and they play each so either way I'll be getting points from that match. But Flying vs soO will be tough, got rid of soO from anti just in case. Thought about trading Flying but the choices aren't great. Choices were basically Reality/SkyHigh/Bbyong. Reality's got two tough opponents in HerO and Bogus, SkyHigh is only playing 1 match, Bbyong is vs Trap and Jaedong. While I think Bbyong can beat JD, it's really hard to root against Jaedong for me. And sure trap lost twice last week, but I don't think he'd got sent as ace if he wasn't capable of playing better. Tough call on this one but I think I'll keep flying for now.

And I got Mind and SongDuri, I hope their preparation pays off on Arkanoid, keeping them for now.

predictions

KT vs T8:
4-2. Baby and Terminator takes their game. KT wins the rest.

Woongjin Stars vs SKT1
hard call. I want Flying and ZerO to win. Soulkey should win too. I don't see Rain and Fantasy losing their games really. Could go to ace match that way. In which case Flying vs Rain flying upset for the win and boost my fantasy league to the front

STX vs KHAN
A lot of really close games. I have no idea on this one. Trap vs Shine should be a interesting match of the two ace losers from last week. I want Stork to be sent out on ACE and win.

CJ Entus vs EGTL
Taeja and HerO should win, rest lose, even Jaedong, makes me sad, maybe I should've traded flying for bbyong afterall. 4-2.

KT vs Woongjin Stars
Flash wins. Mind wins. Soulkey and Flying wins. Close call. Stats will come out for Ace instead of Flash IMO.

Team 8 vs SKT1
Speed and baby wins to take early 2-0 lead. Fantasy Rain and soO will win. No idea who Alone and JYJ are so not sure what happens that game. SKT1 should win the ace if it comes to it

STX vs CJ Entus
Bogus wins, herO wins. Trap vs Bbyong should be a good game. SkyHigh and Effort got a slight edge on their games so I think CJ Entus wins 4-2.

KHAN vs EGTL
I think EGTL is actually favored for this one despite Roro and Stork should open a 2-0 lead. Hero should win. Jaedong should win zvz. Turn is the worst TvT player ever as saw last week so Puma will win. And Taeja will beat Jangbi. That's 4-2 win for EGTL.

Wow, looking at those predictions I don't know why I chose KHAN for my team. Now that they lost to team 8 they are gonna have a really difficult week again.

You really like stork don't you? :p

so when can we see who is actually playing? Or was that only a round 1 thing?
It's hard to make trades without it but I guess that that's the point...

What would the point of captain be then? Untradability is the only difference of being captain.

Because else there's no attachment to the team at all? Teams don't trade captains during a season unless said person got fired or some other extenuating circumstance.

Trades:
Jaehoon for Stephano seems to be a no brainer for anti team
- Jaehoon gets 2 matches, one of them guaranteed, and will be a staple and sent out every damn game so even though we may see Failhoon, he'll manufacture points, Stephano on the other hand isnt being sent out unless he's the wild card for Ace and EG-TL has two tough match ups.

I was going to trade Best for anti teambut then...
Best plays Baby and Zero. And although Zero hasnt been on the sc2 radar yet, everyone from bw knows that this man is a beast if the "good zero" shows up. As well, baby is finally starting to shine after all the talk of potential from the start of WeMadeFox to T8.

Jaehoon plays Mind and Rain this week though. He's definitely losing to Rain, and Mind has really good TvP from what I've seen in that pre-season game. I know it feels risky sticking with Failhoon after last week, but honestly Shine normally isn't much better anyway, and his opponents this week will be.

I traded Mind from my Anti team to main team. He seems to be underrated with the position he is given in the KT team. Also Calm on antiteam, he seems gone. Though my only concern is Jaedong on my anti :/ hopefully he can lose some more, so I can trade him away. GO Last & Stork! I believe!

Gah this choice is killing me..
Mind is on my main team too.
Do I believe in KT taking down Jaehoon, and Jaehoon pulling off an incredible upset again Rain?
Or do I stick with the guy who EG never seems to send out in Stephano...

Tough...

Pros of keeping Jaehoon:
If Mind beats him, and Rain cripples him
Jaehoon's trade value plummets and then I can pick up bisu for my anti team
while Stephano will remain at a 36 rating

Cons of Keeping Jaehoon:
If Jaehoon wins...my god..I'll be fuming
And if SKT T1 sweeps T8, Jaehoon is guaranteed 1 point

What a risk :T..

But does anyone know what Stephano is exactly doing or if he's even in Korea?

Out with JYP, in with Dear.
Dear vs Jangbi and Bong coming up
vs
JYP vs Effort and Stork.

I think they both have a good chance of winning 1 of their matches, but I think Dear has a better chance of winning 2. Agree?

I need to trade Hydra for another Zerg because I can't see him beating Hero or Bogus.

It's probably worth it for you to pay 1 point tax to be 100% safe (w/ Stephano). It's just that Jaehoon might not be the best player to trade away depending on who else you have on the anti.

Stephano isn't in Korea and won't be for the foreseeable future. I honestly thought he'd be locked out of FPL for this round, but I guess the staff can't be sure he won't show up anyway.

My other two is Best...who's basically untradeable right now from the anti-team since he's 0.13 points above Stephano's, which bewilders me..
And Nagi...who is on Woongjin I think...and he's likely a bench warmer.

Think Jaehoon will lost both matchups to drop down in point rating to bisu's?

Problem with Bisu on anti is that you'll be bleeding points due to SKT wins if nothing else. Probably 5 or 6 points minimum until the end of round.

I'm not quite sure how the value adjustment formula works though.

If Bisu isn't on the lineup of the games you don't lose anything even if SKT wins. It's been emphasized that in reality it's much safer to pick your anti team around players that don't get sent out instead of trying to gain points by picking players that get played because you need 1. them to consistently lose, 2. the team they are on to consistently lose while they lose, and 3. to gain points from anti you actually need them to lose while playing the ace match so you would be anti-ing the team's ace player.

You do if I'm reading this right:

Your Player's Team Wins: +1 Point**
**This counts for all players on the team's roster, even if they did not play in the match

Roster, not lineup.
