Not the greatest start to fantasy after the first week for me. Made some blunders and KHAN's loss to Team 8 was quite a bit of surprise unfortunately. Still wish Stork was used for that ace match, I was fairly confident he could've won that. Sending Shine was kind of questionable. Oh well. My bad research ended up with soO on my anti team which was costly. That will be a mistake I have to remedy soon. And Flying just had to go for 2 base mothership build ~_~. Let's take a look at this week's line ups. Here's a subtle interesting things to note. hon_Sin, Mind and SongDuri are being sent out on Arkanoid again after being sent for that map last week. None of 3 of them got to play their match last week due to not getting to the 6th game. This week they are guaranteed to play as it's the 4th map. Interesting to see what builds they've been practicing non-stop for this match. Rain gets two more PvPs. Dang. My trades this week. Anti Team soO for Best. Best is playing vs ZerO and BaBy. I think he could lose both those matches. soO is probably favored in both. Not to mention I got Terminator/Sang already on my anti team, who will be playing vs soO. I'm basically guaranteed -4 if I don't get rid of one of them and hope the one i kept lose. Main team none. I feel pretty good about Stork and herO's match ups. I feel a bit shaky about Flying. I've got Crazy-Hydra as well though and they play each so either way I'll be getting points from that match. But Flying vs soO will be tough, got rid of soO from anti just in case. Thought about trading Flying but the choices aren't great. Choices were basically Reality/SkyHigh/Bbyong. Reality's got two tough opponents in HerO and Bogus, SkyHigh is only playing 1 match, Bbyong is vs Trap and Jaedong. While I think Bbyong can beat JD, it's really hard to root against Jaedong for me. And sure trap lost twice last week, but I don't think he'd got sent as ace if he wasn't capable of playing better. Tough call on this one but I think I'll keep flying for now. And I got Mind and SongDuri, I hope their preparation pays off on Arkanoid, keeping them for now. predictions KT vs T8: 4-2. Baby and Terminator takes their game. KT wins the rest. Woongjin Stars vs SKT1 hard call. I want Flying and ZerO to win. Soulkey should win too. I don't see Rain and Fantasy losing their games really. Could go to ace match that way. In which case Flying vs Rain flying upset for the win and boost my fantasy league to the front ![]() STX vs KHAN A lot of really close games. I have no idea on this one. Trap vs Shine should be a interesting match of the two ace losers from last week. I want Stork to be sent out on ACE and win. CJ Entus vs EGTL Taeja and HerO should win, rest lose, even Jaedong, makes me sad, maybe I should've traded flying for bbyong afterall. 4-2. KT vs Woongjin Stars Flash wins. Mind wins. Soulkey and Flying wins. Close call. Stats will come out for Ace instead of Flash IMO. Team 8 vs SKT1 Speed and baby wins to take early 2-0 lead. Fantasy Rain and soO will win. No idea who Alone and JYJ are so not sure what happens that game. SKT1 should win the ace if it comes to it STX vs CJ Entus Bogus wins, herO wins. Trap vs Bbyong should be a good game. SkyHigh and Effort got a slight edge on their games so I think CJ Entus wins 4-2. KHAN vs EGTL I think EGTL is actually favored for this one despite Roro and Stork should open a 2-0 lead. Hero should win. Jaedong should win zvz. Turn is the worst TvT player ever as saw last week so Puma will win. And Taeja will beat Jangbi. That's 4-2 win for EGTL. Wow, looking at those predictions I don't know why I chose KHAN for my team. Now that they lost to team 8 they are gonna have a really difficult week again.

Do they know something we don't, or did ZerO do something to piss them off? O_o

Best high-value Anti should be an EGL'er i think.. they have so many high-valued players, and first of all, they won't all get to player ever match. secondly; the chance of one of them being send out as an Ace is smaller. Only real downside about them, is their high expectaincy to do good. HerO, Jaedong, Taeja, Stephano.. all 7 points or higher.. (Prior to the small change in their values) Baby on the other hand is THE ONLY high valued player on Team8(Baby 8, Jaehoon 6). He WILL get send out EVERY match.. and most often become Ace if necessary (1 Ace-win is such a high price to pay, that even if one thinks he will lose every match he plays in, just winning 1 ace match resets the balance) Oh well.. a new experience made

My bad research ended up with soO on my anti team which was costly. That will be a mistake I have to remedy soon. And Flying just had to go for 2 base mothership build ~_~. On the one hand, 2 sets of games allows you to choose players, who will be playing consistently. On the other hand, there are 3 players on my main, who I want to boot, and another one who I think I can trade for a better player... But now I only have two possible trades. And yes, Flying is one of the players I want to kick from my main. That mothership build was interesting, but doomed from the very beginning. I'm really hyped to see all the games on on Arkanoid. Also, Mind - a player who costed only 2 points - gets 3/3 lineup appearances! Chances are, he will be more than just a filler on my team. Why would you ever do something like this??? Best might not be favored against ZerO and BaBy, but he certainly isn't the underdog either. Furthermore, Best is guaranteed to play both his games! While soO is put on set 6 against T8. SKT are very likely to win 4-0 / 4-1 anyway. Not to mention that soO's other game is against a semi-decent toss on Planet S and chances are that he won't hold the immortal/sentry all-in. Why would you skip on the most obvious trade this week: Stephano on anti! Main team none. I feel pretty good about Stork and herO's match ups. I feel a bit shaky about Flying. I've got Crazy-Hydra as well though and they play each so either way I'll be getting points from that match. But Flying vs soO will be tough, got rid of soO from anti just in case. And I got Mind and SongDuri, I hope their preparation pays off on Arkanoid, keeping them for now. I wish I had Stork and herO... They are pretty much guaranteed between 6 and 8 points each the next two playdays. Both also have a remote chance of appearing in an ace match, too. I decided to keep Flying for another week, too. There really aren't any trades that are guaranteed to be better. I might as well gamble on Flying rather than on Bbyong/hyvaa/Last/reality/Jangbi. Mind might become the best pick of the season after the next two playdays ![]() predictions + Show Spoiler + KT vs T8: 4-2. Baby and Terminator takes their game. KT wins the rest. Wow, looking at those predictions I don't know why I chose KHAN for my team. Now that they lost to team 8 they are gonna have a really difficult week again. KT vs T8 If hitman's all-in succeeds, this might be another 4-0 for KT. Also, I assume you didn't see Wooki's game last week? It was perfectly executed. I'd say it's a safe bet to call 2 more PvP wins for Wooki in the next two matches. Worst case scenario KT wins 4-2 Woongjin Stars vs SKT1 I have a very low opinion of Woongjin, but with that lineup they might sweep SKT 4-0. However, I assume that an ace match with SKT winning is the most likely outcome. STX vs KHAN I agree that those matches are all very close. I'd say this will be another match going the full distance with STX taking the ace match. CJ Entus vs EGTL Though one for EGTL. I feel like Thorzain might be the only one taking a map. Taeja hasn't impressed me in TvP lately and HerO won't have it easy against Hydra. 4-1 CJ KT vs Woongjin Stars Soulkey will win. Flash and Wooki will win. I hope that Mind wins, but I have no idea why you think that he is favored against sin. The same applies to Flying. I feel like Woongjin will manage to fail yet again, so I'd say KT wins. T8 vs SKT1 Baby cannot carry the team alone. SKT wins. Worst case 4-2 SKT. Worth noting is that JyJ is fielded twice next week, so I'd assume that he is actually good. He should beat Alone. STX vs CJ Entus STX have a very solid lineup and I'm fairly certain that they will have a lot of matches going the full distance this round. Chances are an ace match will have to decide this. However, I hope (and think) that Effort will close it out for 4-2 CJ. KHAN vs EGTL I agree that EGTL has good chances to win this one. EGTL 4-2 or if Teaja loses 4-3 either way. Last but not least: I fully agree that taking Khan as one's team is a terrible decision. ![]() On December 13 2012 22:10 GolemMadness wrote: My anti-team has a single matchup this week: Zenio vs Roro. :D My anti-team doesn't have a single match this week ![]()

Main Team Bisu > Wooki or Dear - bisu failed to repay my faith in him. wooki has stable results. he is playing bong and free. dear is severely underrated having decent results for his price. he is playing jangbi and bong. both wooki and dear are rather even. fOKINS > yeongjae - i thought fokins had something special prepared last week that warranted woongjin to open with him but he got trashed by hero. yeongjae is playing 2x this week for skt. he is playing soulkey (i have him too) and alone. i guess it cant hurt to have him for the same reason i have fokins in week 1. moreover he is really cheap and looking like a stable skt starter. fantasy - captain songduri > Mind - didnt get to see songduri last week. cj is persisting with him this week on the same map so i might stay with him for another week but im deciding to trade him with someone who will be more likely to start weekly like Mind. soulkey - disappointed me last week. this week's matchup looks favorable. zero - disappointed me last week as well but woongjin is persisting on starting him on the worst z map Bifrost for three consecutive matches. surely there must be something im missing. gonna stay with him a little longer. cjentus - not changing Anti Team Huk > Sacsri or Leta or Light - sacsri is just a crazy mother fucker. leta and light isnt playing for some reason. Motive - he's not gonna play. anti for life. Shy > Jaedong - i swear when i checked shy's stats it was horrible for his price. but turns out he has like 21-8 in sc2 so i must have screwed up and looked up his bw stats instead. he isnt particularly impressive and wins scrappy games. he doesnt have the aura of domination like big names yet he somehow fucking wins games. too dangerous to leave him in anti.

For me the FPL didnt start very well (somebody could even say quite bad), but I attribute that to being FPL novice. Only ones that scored for my team were Bbyong and Fantasy with Mind and Crazy-Hydra scoring also, because they didnt actually get to play. Flying and hyvaa disappointed a little bit. From the anti-team, Jaehoon has made me lose 4 points, which I didnt like at all. On the other hand, Mini didnt play at all and Bisu lost, so at least something. Getting Woongjin Stars as my team, I kinda question now. Of course, we cannot deduce anything from one match, but STX Soul has impressed me more first week and they cost same amount of points. Trades I have made: None on main team, was thinking about getting rid of Flying, but he is the only protoss on my team, so I would have to either trade him for another protoss or do 2 trades, which is currently not too appealing to me. On anti-team though, I have traded Jaehoon for Stephano. He won't be playing this week for sure, and also probably won't be playing the next week since HSC ends on 22.12 which is next Saturday. If he goes to Korea straight after HSC, he may be playing in match on 25.12. - jetlagged, not prepared etc. Not to mention, that Jaehoon actually has pretty good chance to win his first match (and he will probably lose the second to Rain). Trade worth it, imo. Expected performance (maybe the better name for this section would be "Things I hope for"): Fantasy should be leading the charge for me as my captain, I really expect him to win both his matches. Neither hOn_sin nor Ryul2 should be too much of a problem for him. Bbyong plays against JD and Trap next week. I fully expect JD to lose, mainly after what he showed against Hack. Versus Trap it should be 50/50 and I hope he can beat him too. Wont be too surprised if he loses though. Crazy-Hydra plays only one match and thats against Flying, whom I also have on my team, so if it comes to that match, I will get points from it whatever happens. Mind plays Jaehoon and hOn_sin, both on Arkanoid (he was also scheduled to play on Arkanoid in the EG-TL match), so he seems like a sniper for this map. Hopefully he has some good builds prepared. Flying plays soO and C-H. Against soO its gonna be very hard. I actually dont expect him to win. Will see though, maybe he has some ace up his sleeve. He only trains PvZ for this week, so if he doesnt do 10 min mothership, he may stand a chance. Agains C-H it doesnt really matter, I have some points from that match either way. And finally, hyvaa plays against hOpe and Effort. He only has to train ZvZ which is good. I think he should beat hOpe and stand a fair chance against Effort, so this is his chance to redeem himself after losing last week. And now to some predictions! + Show Spoiler [Saturday] + KT vs T8 Baby and Flash should take their games. I would give a slight edge to Mind on Arkanoid because of the map. Wooki and Terminator should be 50/50, I would give a slight edge to Wooki (just cause Terminator is bad and nobody can convince me otherwise even if he wins GSL in the near future). The other T8 players are unknown to me and they definitely can surprise, but I think Action and Stats are solid enough to warranty KT victory 4:1 or 4:2. WJS vs SKT sHy and Soulkey should win their matches, Fantasy and Rain should win theirs. This will all come to Flyings and ZerO matches. At least one of them will have to win to get it to ace. Both will have it very tough and I am not sure if they can do it. Will definitely root for them though. Its either gonna be 4:2 SKT or 4:3 SKT with Rain winning vs Soulkey in ace. + Show Spoiler [Sunday] + STX vs KHAN 4:2 STX with hyvaa, Dear, Bogus and Trap winning. It will be up to Reality to prove me wrong, win his match against Bogus, get it to ace, where Bogus will kill ![]() CJ vs EGTL Bbyong, Taeja, herO[jOin], HerO will win their matches. SonGDuri vs Thorzain, I really dont know. Everything seems to b favouring Thorzain, but... he is foreigner. And EffOrt vs JYP is battle of i-dont-know-how-to-beat-toss vs I-dont-know-if-I-slump-or-I-have-always-been-so-bad. It will come up to if CJ can win both - SonGDuri vs Thorzain and EffOrt vs JYP. If they can, they win 4:2. If they cant, EG wins 4:2 or 4:3 in ace. + Show Spoiler [Monday] + KT vs WJS Soulkey, Flash, sHy, Mind, Wooki, Flying win their matches, imo. Then it is up to ace and the question is if they can snipe Flash. imo they cant. KT 4:3 T8 vs SKT I wanted to say this is gonna be onesided, but.. First game I dont really know either player, so I dont know who can win. Baby should have an edge over Best, but he certainly can take it also. Fantasy wins afterwards. 4th game is once again like cointoss for me, dont know. Rain and soO win. SKT is gonna take it, question is only how much they win. if everything goes right for T8 (Baby wins, both unknown games are won by T8 players) then SKT wins 4:3. If not, SKT wins 4:2 or 4:1. Either way, SKT wins. + Show Spoiler [Tuesday] + STX vs CJ Last, Bogus, Bbyong, herO[jOin], Dear are gonna take their matches. Then it comes down to hyvaa vs EffOrt. if hyvaa wins, STX wins 4:2. If EffOrt wins, STX wins 4:3 in ace (Bogus takes down herO[jOin], my wil guess). KHAN vs EGTL EGTL 4:2 with HerO, Taeja, Puma, JD winning their games.
