Don't know this team at all though... He is their first SC2 player and is planned to be captain of a full new roster. I know it's personal, but I'm curious what range we're talking about.

I wouldn't know what happens in the negotiation rooms, but players like MMA would probably ask for, at the very least, a few thousand dollars a month. There are other things to pay for, though - like sending players to event, potentially buying them gear, and a lot of other things if you're looking to have a team house. I'm the opposite of an expert on this subject, but I reckon it's not cheap to run a "good" team with players that are anything but up-and-comers.

I know it's personal, but I'm curious what range we're talking about. Quite a lot of money. Salary depends on the player. Players like NaNiwa or Stephano could easily ask for a couple of thousands. Rumours are Stephano went from about 1.4EUR a month with Millenium, to $8k a month with EG. I think someone had said on some talk show, that an average salary for a normal pro would be around $1,200 a month. However this changes a lot, Some teams, offer gaming houses - most premier teams have one today - and that in itself is a big expense, especially if players live in it 24/7 (having to pay food, utility bills etc, apart from rent). Another very big difference is residency of the pro. Flying from Europe to Europe, or from the US to the US, is not extremely expensive, buth cross-continent travel can be extremely expensive. Koreans also have extra expenses like translators and such.

Some of the other names on this list are also a bit surprising since they are quite good (i.e. San, Sage). But to be sustainable, I suppose it needs some strong networking with a company willing to sponsor a team, which I don't have and I'm not that willing to try.

Does any of you know how team NrS can contact Arthur? I saw that player in NASL and I like his play style. However contacting koreans is no easy task when you can not actually reach them. Egomancer

He speaks English and he's taking care of the former SlayerS players. EDIT: I know because I donated to some of the players after the team disbanded.

Tefel joins Dignitas Glon departs from vVv Gaming jEcho joins FXO.NA Acer and Millenium will (as far as I know) be both recruiting a Zerg player in the coming days, and I have a feeling EG have something big up their sleeve, probably perhaps something similar to Fnatic in Korea. Could we possibly be seeing a third foreign team in the GSTL?
