Sad that MMA won't be signing on a Korean team..
How great it would be for him to join IM. They need a flagship Terran to win championships while Mvp is undergoing surgery in the near future.

It's called League of Legends.

I can't believe anyone would take MMA's word over BOXER's.

Have you been reading? Boxer is not painted in a very good light even from Jessica's point of view.

Yes, I have been reading and from what I can see, Jessica puts it as a "Boxer and me" thing.

I think the other GSL winners will want to increase their counter while Mvp is gone.

Hmm from thE looks of things, people shouldnt blindly side with one particular side because theyfavor them. Hmm.. Jessica is a well known actress... Theres no real reason why she would embezzle money from the Players. From the sound of things, it was due to poor judgment from the players, jessica/boxer turning a blind eye towards 'J' before things go out of hand and personality coming into conflict. We knownjessica is known to have a short temper and when she heard these false accusations she probably lashed out at them then havig a stern talk and clarifiying the situation. All partIes are at fault. But i believe the concrete evidence provided by jess. Its unfortunate that they. Couldnt come together to resolve the issue in one piece.

This one of the most depressing thing I've ever read.

Especially the bullying of players and management instructed restriction of practice/chatting with players by sc2con. And that people actually believe the embezzling. I hope boxer finds his passion again.

That's true and apparently he and Jessica discussed it at length. Still, it's like having a child that's terminally ill. You know it's coming and when the inevitable happens, it's still pretty difficult.

Yeah but I'm happy for Boxer because he's now in a place that fully, 100% appreciates him.

So I googled his name and found this:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KODE5#KODE5_Launch

Apparently, he's been involved in some failed esports things in the past. Doesn't sound like he's the kind to try to steal players for his own team. But it's very believable that he'd at least use off comments like 'you should make your own team' to undermine Jessica.

I'm really sad to see Slayers gone. I'm also really sad to see it end the way it has. Jessica airing all of this drama seems really unnecessary and is only make a sad incident worse. Her words at this point can't fix anything for Slayers and will only make it more difficult for former members to find new teams.

Instead of remembering all the great things slayers did we're sifting through a giant pile of drama and awfulness. I'm torn between hoping what she said is true because otherwise there's a great deal of libel and character attacks, and hoping that what she said isn't true because it's pretty sad if it is.

why league of legends???!??!?!! they are wasting all their multi tasking potential on game with single unit.....

It's probably easier money. Imagine a LoL team of SlayerS players. Their multi-tasking and unit control is far superior to anyone who's only played LoL, and they've already been on a pro team for years... once they fully understand the interactions of the different champions, they'll just roll everyone.

No. The games require different skills sets. Although there is some overlap, it would be like saying someone good in tennis will be good in squash. If you took a pro tennis player and have them play against someone random, that would be true. But even if a tennis pro switches and trains in squash, they might not reach pro levels.

Meh. As someone who's played tennis for a very long time, and teaches it... I understand pretty well the skillset required to play that game. And I also feel that there is a lot of overlap between tennis and racquetball or squash (I've played both). While I don't play racquetball or squash at a pro-level, some of my friends who have played for a very long time and need an opponent will give me a call.

And I'm not saying that these SC2 players are going to win everything the second they change over, but having their set of skills, plus their team atmosphere (and if they could continue training the way StarCraft pro-gamers did? O.O) and understanding how to analyze replays that's been incredibly refined over the years... I think they'd be kicking ass quite quickly. Maybe not as quickly as BW -> SC2, but there's clearly a reason why so many of these StarCraft pro-gamers are switching to LoL.

Korean LoL teams like Azubu are already training like Starcraft teams (CJ, KT, MVP, IM also have LoL teams). One thing you are missing is the team aspect. Someone very good in 1 on 1 basketball might not be good on an NBA team. I am not
saying they won't be good because they will due to mechnical skills and practice. But to claim they will just roll everyone is a bit premature.

And of course you will see SC2 gamers switch over, they tried and couldn't quite make it in SC2 so they are trying something else. It is not the really successful players that are switching.

There has always been so much drama and secrecy surrounding this team. I think it is best for the players that this happened.

Holy shit.

This is an absolute shit storm. The number of important teams and players who Jessica is saying she has direct evidence against who she could sue is astronomical. This is far from over, and could very possibly seriously hurt the Korean eSPORTS scene.

Can't there's a ban I think.

Does it count if the team disbands though?

What people forget is korean culture. Mma is the hyung of the team and that means the players 'dongsang' look up to him for advice andd take his words seriously. This 'J' fellow is clearly a con, and the key to the collapsr was that mma's innocent guilloble personality made him take the conmans words to heart who he told other players and of course, considerig it was their teAm cAptain and hyung telling this, they would listen to him and fall suspicious... I hope this 'j' man rots in a bad life

SKT is covered by Kespa, Kespa would rather quit SC2 than this sorta shit.
