He said "abused," implying sex -- which would be statutory rape in some states but if he even did have sex with a 14 year old, no one knows within what jurisdiction it took place to rule it statutory rape. There is nothing out to clarify whether or not he actually did it.

this was a harsh example of course. but it could happen that someone fucked someone else's girlfriend in the sc2 scene, that's much more realistic and likely. It can be that someone in the sc2 likes to have sex with trees. It can be that someone in the sc2 is a satanist. these are all possibilities, and if those people don't actually hurt other people or cross the laws of society, it's perfectly fine if they do those weird or even unethical things.

Stephano made a bad joke that got leaked- what changed? nothing, he didn't rape a 14 year old, the raping didn't somehow materialize in the past just because he mentioned the word "abuse". he didn't commit a crime, he'll still attract huge numbers of viewers, and if he doesn't, that's his and EG's loss, in this sense mistakes like this can punish the player and the team.

YET what does happen in reality? internet scum immediately sends an email to razer and monster with dick in hand. about a kid who made a stupid joke to a friend, and which has literally zero effect on all these internet scums lives, Stephano will still play good and still tell these kinds of jokes just he'll make 100% sure next time that it wont get leaked.

it's just one small thing that pro gamers have to watch out for, it doesn't change ANYTHING in the world. From a practical point of view, it is 100% pointless to participate in the witch hunt, and from a moral point of view, well its stupid to try to look at this from this anyway, and literally nobody here would be a credible judge. So conclusion- players will look out and apologize, but not for the people, and it doesn't change anything if they do. that's why this whole drama is 100% unnecessary and stupid.
