No it is not, it is punishable by 5 years in jail. (Although it would need the girl to press charge and he wold obviously not go in jail.)

I'm wondering how many of you who take this shit to the heart are under 26. Stephano said some stupid shit(probably joking), EG acted on it and that's it. Just leave the Stephano rapist thing go. He is not, he is just a kid. The korean players don't act like anti-social trolls. Some are even 15 and learned how to act in the public eye. You make a choice if you want to be a professional or not. If stephano wants to be reunited with his income he better learn to.

Get over it. there are some jokes that just aren't suitable to say in public. I don't know about your country but in Hong Kong, if you joke about "I will bomb the government" or "I am part of the gangster lulzKKK" on the INTERNET alone, police has the right to track you down and question you and you will get some community service time.

He will learn to make sure he isnt on bling's stream when he says stupid shit that's for sure. Just sayin people are overreacting a looot. It's like they all have 14yo's and are afraid of this crazy french maniac rapin' them.

And thats not only example. This thread is full of it. Concerning Stephano: Hope this would teach him to think before he says smth. Some trolling is always fun. But again he shouldnt overstep the border. He is clever boy. Hopefully he learns on his mistakes.

This is apparently the effect SRS has on our scene. It's unsettling.

Not really. Anyone moderately popular who publicly declares himself a criminal molester/pedophile(Ephebophile) will make worldwide news. It's not hypocrisy it's just called upsetting the morals of virtually the whole world.

I really don't understand why the starcraft community is sooooo uptight about these things. Jokes are jokes, and it is OKAY to make them.

This kind of thing is unacceptable from a professional acting in a public role and representing a company. Until everyone understands that and gets on board with that principle we're not going to get anywhere. Bluntly your personal opinion on what he said doesn't matter, nor does my personal opinion, neither does the legal standpoint that people are debating. What matters is that sponsors absolutely will not tolerate people who represent them doing this kind of thing and neither will the general public. Thats why it should matter to everyone here, too; because this kind of behaviour without punishment WILL scare sponsors away since they won't want to risk being presented in a bad light by the teams they sponsor letting people get away with things that will put the public off. As people have mentioned previously, most Korean players by and large behave impeccably professionally, many without being flat personalities like everyone seems to be scared of (see MC for an example). If everyone could follow their example then we'd all be a lot better off.

Yeah I'm not buying their RAM, they disgust me." Sounds like something people would say.
