Well it'll be like this until there's a disconnect between the community and the players. SC2 players and tournament organizers are part of the community, which is actually a bad thing in some respects. For one, streaming creates a bit of an eggshell environment and creates and over saturation of content. Two, players and organizers are WAY too emotionally connected with the community. You can't go two minutes in any stream without people mentioning chat, and you can't go a few weeks without an SC2 personality hitting the tipping point and creating drama because of community trolls.
Mainstream sports obviously have governing sanctioning bodies with rules and regulations. Their players don't check what people are saying about them daily, and they have salaries. KESPA kind of does a good job, though it clearly has a lot of negative aspects. To get mainstream, I think some kind of sanctioning body would need to exist universally or regionally with some player salaries. That and some kind of way to disconnect people from the community.

Zzz this is the same argument present in many other threads that have been locked because of it. The only thing I will say, though: Plenty of 18-year olds are still too stupid to have sex responsibly, and the age of consent is a completely arbitrary number, proven by the fact that every country/state has a different idea of what it should be. There are plenty of regions where 14 is legal (some in the USA), so are you going to stand there and tell us that all of those places are hotbeds of immorality?
