Is there any solid evidence of ppl paying for many hours of coaching ? and I guess some ppl were still happy with the coaching because they were coached by a girl.. wich also sounds weird to me.. but I forced nobody to get coaching from her . I guess if I would know someone would pay for coaching.. I would offer my services .. I think I can be a good coach .. Ok, whatever about coaching. Let's just say you knew nothing about the paid coaching she was offering. What about the showmatches and tournaments that you won while smurfing? "She" won money from these, and deprived other pro gamers. Is that fair? Would you man up and return the money that you (essentially) stole from the other pros?

Do this until your reputation has been restored. And I do believe that if you do this, it will.
What about verralyn give the money back ?

Although her reputation is lost, she did run away with a lot of people's money. Although I think the way Deathangel has been handling this situation isn't particularly impressive, I think when it comes down to who's responsible for the losses, it's Veralynn.

I don't think we need to ask for any more punishment for those two. DA offered an explanation and VeraLynn pretty much deleted her stuff. In the end, they are the ones who lost. A lot. They won't be able to move around the eSports community without raising eyebrows. People will be watching them closely. It will be difficult for them to start anything without someone asking about this controversy. Every time they pop-up, they will be forced to answer or explain this controversy. That's punishment enough I think.

1st : hats of to KawaiiRice , very smart and observant guy and nice job in studying all the stuff , remember playing you on both accounts on ladder , you being fateofseven on EU server
2nd : yea.. I'm a scumbag and I played on other ppl accounts , I also play on some smurfs too not only on my nick , just to try different strategies etc.
3rd : I am very sorry to everyone affected by this , I basically played on someone's else account , make it into GM .. wich seems ok , like a smurf for me..
but the effects were very bad it seems I am very sorry for this , but I played legit starcraft , not map hackign or
something .. I am interested in the competitive aspect of the game.. and I never got the chance to play in any showmatch on my own.. never got invited.. was amazed when I found out that there are so many ppl interested to see a girl play.. so I accepted to play.. wich is bad.. I am such a scumbag.. I should just refuse it..
I also hurt some ppl it seems , I just wanted to play some good matches of sc2 in wich seemed a friendly showmatch .. I just wanted to see if I am skilled enough to beat someone good in a showmatch .
What can I say.. I shouldn't done that.. I would also feel bad if someone would
come pretending to be someone else and beating me.. feels bad , but I had no
interest in scamming someone or put them to get coaching from veralynn. I just played on her account as a smurf of mine , and now I feel kind of dumb
hearing ppl paid coaching lessons.. I thought there was only free coaching cause
I would see free coaching all the time when I was looking at her stream , I am
pretty sure there must be some misunderstanding regarding this.
Feel sorry ppl were so naive , but that must be a lesson also , why would you
take lessons from a girl just because she is gm , and also , don't you see that
the coaching is not GM level ? or maybe the coaching was good and deserved the
money.. I have no ideea and I feel very sorry if the things were like this.
I should also play only my own account from now on , I am not interested in
scamming ppl for money or other stuff like that.. I am a legit player and I can
play and win showmatches against those players on my own , also I can coach on my
own and give good coaching and good advices , what I did was stupid and didn't
benefit me in any way .
I really feel sorry , I just wanted to play some good games , my intentions were
good.. but.. stuff happens.. such a sick life.. I trully feel very sorry for the guys that were upset to have lost to a ,,girl''
, you guys actually lost to me .
Also very sorry for my english. It's 5am and I am tired.
I am kind of a guy that sold a gun to a random guy on the street then realising the crime
PS . Never trust women , they are evil.
Nice to hear him admit his mistake and apologize. Some may accept or not but one quick thing to note is: Why would you stream on her twitch account when on her account if you used it as a smurf? Did she ask you to do it or what?
Hmm never even thought about this. Suprised no one else brought it up (to my knowledge). Why indeed stream from her account if it was just to smurf? He had to be making some money somewhere, and know what was going on a bit more than he is letting on, even if he didn't know about paid coaching.

my friend.. a lot of top pros play on some regular ppl accounts.. for money or just for smurfing purposes .. it's just that you don't know .. I already explained this case

What did we learn?
It's 2012. The internet has facebook, streams, skype logs. Don't lie to the internet.

Wow a comprehensive write up. If the allegations are true, what a sneaky lil bitch to be lying to viewers about her location and her skill level. Hopefully she either proves this all wrong or gtfo from sc2.

They don't stream and play showmatches on other people's accounts. That's a big difference.

I'm kinda iffy about this. I can see deathangel playing on the account for money and not knowing about the coaching and other ways she used the GM status to get money. But at the same time, he did play show matches as her, and that's just dirty and he had to have known something was up there. I feel deathangel probably does deserve some punishment for playing showmates as veralyn, but I don't think he deserves much punishment, but that's just me.

That may be true, but as far as I know they have not played in show-matches(or a "protected" tournament) for money using the accounts they power level. I feel that is the big difference here that everyone is wondering about. Why would you go into these events(especially the tournament) knowing that you got to that position through this trickery? I can vaguely see your point with the show-matches, but I do not see your reason for using her account for the girl's tournament.
Would you be able to explain why you decided to join the tournament(you surely knew it was an all-girls tournament)?

I think the difference is most don't stream pretending to be that person, and also don't play in show matches pretending to be that person. That is where the difference is. It is one thing to make money from power leveling someone to GM, and a whole different matter to promote some else's brand (in this case a female) in order to generate stream revenue for that person (and possibly yourself) and in turn to help set up show matches for that person through that stream, and then play in those show matches for even more money. I am not saying you should be banned, etc. And I am sure eventually your reputation will be restored, but for the time being, giving the full story would help a lot more than playing mostly ignorant. It will def take time.

why do people care about the showmatches, he did win the games fair and square
