The Key indicator of guilt, besides playing in female showmatches, should be whether Deathangel was guilty beyond a reasonable doubt (or preponderance of the evidence if we go civil) of the knowledge of Veraylnn's crimes/false advertising as gm.

We should hold a TL trial, mods get at it and hire lawyers.

I will believe you may have not known she charged for lessons and even that you got no profit form those. But you essentially power leveled her from platinum to GM.. did she pay you for that? I don't see how you could have gotten no money at all from this because you then truly would have no incentives... You already had your own smurf accounts to practice as you said.. Why risk this stuff if you got NOTHING at all?

She obviously paid for the power leveling services... Vera isn't THAT attractive to do for free*

I mean yea, that is what I believe as well. However he never came out and said it. If he wanted to be completely transparent (which I think is the best way to go here) he would have mentioned it. But it does sound bad to mention getting money given what has happened. I just wanted him to come out and admit it if it did happen. I am not trying to say "lets ban him," in all honesty i am playing devils advocate to an extent.. but hey just trying to figure out exactly what went down because it has a large effect on just how "bad" this is for DeathAngel (we already know Vera is done and should be given the mountain of evidence and her clear run and hide approach to the situation).

I don't really know you as a player, but as a person I have to say it's pretty lame you engage in an act that defrauds the community of actual money, and then divert the blame to the very community you defrauded by suggesting their "attraction for gamer-girls" is the only reason this could have succeeded, as opposed to suggesting you are personally at fault. It's the exact same psychology as Bernie Madoff blaming his investors for being greedy after defrauding them.

you read me wrong sir , I don't want your money.. I didn't scammed you for anything , I played on some other account without realising that it can get to this point , and I feel sorry for guys like you but I would never ask someone to do coaching with me pretending that I am GSL champion.. that would be a scam .

feeling bad for everyone.. really.. I don't meant to hurt anyone.. and I did it indirectly it seems , my intentions were not like that.

Did she pay you to play her account? Or did you do it for free?

I'm not accusing you of wanting my money or attempting to personally scam me. I'm suggesting you are diverting blame to the community, which you are doing even more so by claiming you "feel sorry guys like (me)" as opposed to actually apologizing.

my friend.. if I wanna scamm you , I can take everything you have , but I don't want that .. I love you like you are .

If I would like to do coaching , I would do it on my own.. it just happened that I played someone's account and the owner of that account tried to scamm some ppl .

But I think there wasn't any paid coaching.. I really wanna know who really paid any coaching to veralynn.. cause I think it is just a rumour.. this can't be true..

Reps from SixPoolGaming have already come forward and said that people that paid for coaching from Veralynn messaged them complaining asking for a refund after they saw this entire scam going on.

Just to clarify, we never offered her coaching services and know nothing about how that was run. We offer training videos from multiple gamers for a monthly fee.

Kawaii talks about the same thing here:

How much was she charging for her coaching? Anyone who bought time with her should try and get their money back via however they paid. I think 6pool gaming should try and compensate victims with something, since she was representing them while conducing this fraud

Someone mentioned they bought one of her 12 lesson packages for $100, but I don't know the rates.

At SixPoolGaming we don't offer coaching services; we offer training videos, tutorials and the like for a low monthly subscription fee (and you get access to every coach's videos for this fee). The only thing SPG contributed for her coaching credibility was their name, which I doubt affected the decisions of her students (I could be wrong?). Even if someone subscribed to SPG for Vera's videos specifically I am sure the rest of the content on the site is adequate for them.
Vera did however advertise her coaching through a listing on z33k.com.

nah. I think deathangel should be forgiven. He is one of the few people when busted, came out and gave an apology. To note, many pros secretly level other accounts for money. All this smurfing and power leveling people do is for money. What deathangel did is no different than what other pros do everyday. Only difference is that he got caught. Hopefuly his apology was sincere and he will stop those activities. I don't remember him in any past wrong doings, so he deserves a second chance. Mostly because he has admitted to it and said he will won't continue those acts.

He was offered a chance to do something he was never able to do before in his life - play in show matches against big-name pros. His decision to play was understandable, but not right. He definitely deserves a second chance as he is willing to admit to the mistake and come out and apologize.

Gotta be kidding yourself if you actually think this guy would come clean and implicate himself with $$$. Won't happen, regardless if he's guilty of it.

3rd : I am very sorry to everyone affected by this , I basically played on
someone's else account , make it into GM .. wich seems ok , like a smurf for me..

but the effects were very bad it seems
I am very sorry for this , but I played legit starcraft , not map hackign or

something .. I am interested in the competitive aspect of the game.. and I never
got the chance to play in any showmatch on my own.. never got invited.. was
amazed when I found out that there are so many ppl interested to see a girl
play.. so I accepted to play.. wich is bad.. I am such a scumbag.. I should just
refuse it..

I also hurt some ppl it seems , I just wanted to play some good
matches of sc2 in wich seemed a friendly showmatch ..
I just wanted to see if I am skilled enough to beat someone good in a showmatch .

What can I say.. I shouldn't done that.. I would also feel bad if someone would

come pretending to be someone else and beating me.. feels bad , but I had no

interest in scamming someone or put them to get coaching from veralynn.
I just played on her account as a smurf of mine , and now I feel kind of dumb

hearing ppl paid coaching lessons.. I thought there was only free coaching cause

I would see free coaching all the time when I was looking at her stream , I am

pretty sure there must be some misunderstanding regarding this.

Feel sorry ppl were so naive , but that must be a lesson also , why would you

take lessons from a girl just because she is gm , and also , don't you see that

the coaching is not GM level ? or maybe the coaching was good and deserved the

money.. I have no ideea and I feel very sorry if the things were like this.

I should also play only my own account from now on , I am not interested in

scamming ppl for money or other stuff like that.. I am a legit player and I can

play and win showmatches against those players on my own , also I can coach on my

own and give good coaching and good advices , what I did was stupid and didn't

benefit me in any way .

I really feel sorry , I just wanted to play some good games , my intentions were

good.. but.. stuff happens.. such a sick life..
I trully feel very sorry for the guys that were upset to have lost to a ,,girl''

, you guys actually lost to me .

Also very sorry for my english.
It's 5am and I am tired.

I am kind of a guy that sold a gun to a random guy on the street then realising the crime

PS . Never trust women , they are evil.

Thanks for posting!

While all of it was very wrong in my eyes (and I don't buy the "my intentions were good" or not realising the crime until afterwards bs), the one single thing that got me most upset was probably playing in the female only tournament and winning easily. + Show Spoiler +

I feel bad for LoveGeek, there was an lesser known girls-only SC2 tournament that was never listed. "Veralynn" all-killed and never dropped a single game in this tournament, and I feel really bad for all the players who could have had a chance.
The purpose of these tournaments are to provide a protected environment for the female scene to grow. And you stomp in there with your troll face and beat everyone up...

Compare to the Romanian national championships, and imagine a code-A Korean smurfing on some no-name Romanians account winning everything.

Maybe you can offer free coaching to the female players in the tournament to make up a bit?

Is there any solid evidence of ppl paying for many hours of coaching ?

Perhaps he does deserve to be forgiven, and perhaps he should be given a second chance. However, we don't have to forgive him immediately. At least with what has been presented so far it seems to me that he has caused some issues he should have been aware of. There is a place in between total ban and complete forgiveness and that doesn't seem too unreasonable.

Hi Deathangel, I read your posts and I do want to forgive you.

But for the sake of fairness, I have a solution to this. Because of what you and Veralynn did (I won't accuse you on what your intentions are, but you still did contribute), many people have lost their money on false coaching etc. I propose that you offer free lessons to anybody for the next few months to pay back to the community.

Do this until your reputation has been restored. And I do believe that if you do this, it will.

take lessons from a girl just because she is gm , and also , don't you see that

the coaching is not GM level ? or maybe the coaching was good and deserved the

Nice to hear him admit his mistake and apologize. Some may accept or not but one quick thing to note is:

Why would you stream on her twitch account when on her account if you used it as a smurf? Did she ask you to do it or what?

Guys, DeathAngel obviously knew what was going on when he played as VeraLynn in showmatches... that goes way beyond simply smurphing or power leveling her account. It'd be one thing if he simply leveled her account to GM while she legitimately played the showmatches herself. But that's not the case.. he was knowingly deceiving other progamers and organizations by posing as someone he was not in order to win money...

That said, give the guy another chance. It's hell out there for the average foreigner pro and I can't say I fully understand his situation. Others have been caught doing worse and have been forgiven.

Deathangel can play the victim all he wants, but he clearly had some sort of deal going on with veralynn for him to get tournament invites/showmatches under her name and to split the profit.
It's not just that he smurfed under her name, but he streamed games pretending to be veralynn to promote her brand. The whole thing is just dirty.
