Lucifron, Vortix, Nerchio from EU. My love for Grubby almost made me vote for him, but I tried to remain objective and these 3 are the best choices imo.

Still, in europe you need to be top 16 out of 56. I don't think that you can get into the qualifier without being popular.

Since it's top 16 who enter the qualifying tournament, most of the relevant pro gamers will be invited (since the candidate pool isn't actually that big for what the cut off is). Suppy/Scarlett for NA. Dimaga/Kas for EU.

I'd hate to see some washed up players knock stronger players out of the running simply because they have a more entertaining stream. :\ For example, a guy like Lastshadow getting more votes than Ostojiy? Seriously, after the Red Bull LAN fiasco? You right its almost a disgrace. People please vote with you brain and not you heart

I guarantee you all 16 out of those 56 players won't be flakes. Even if ThorZain, WhiteRa and DeMuslim get in (no offense to them, but they've been falling off), there will still be 13 other spots. More than plenty chances for that slightly under the radar but amazing player to get in.

So my picks were: Scarlett, Major, Nerchio, Sortof and Lucifron.

If you determine the top 2 in a single elimination format, it could be that one semifinal is absolutely stacked while the other is meh. So it could be that skillwise, two players in the one semifinal should advance, however due to the format only one of the can.

if you really want to see Korea vs The World, I hear Blizzard is throwing a cool tournament in China this year.

![]() About NA: Scarlett and Sen for sure. There is huge skill gap between those 2 and all the others.

What kind of a tournament is that? It doesn't even have Terrans. =(

If you're that concerned with making sure talent gets a chance for opportunity, then choose wisely!

This can change by taeja, hero, MKP, symbol, or leenock making it deep into this GSL but still!!! come on guys these is going to be a sick Korea team. We need the "BEST" to compete not the most popular.

Did you see who Idra beat in the last MLG? He's the only guy who managed to beat First, outside of Leenock. He also beat one or two more Koreans.

Korea vs the World wont be fun if we pick popular players to get stomped on by the top 7 koreans. Im guessing Koreans will be chosen by GSL points. Which means right now these would be the players that are going to play DRG,Seed,Mvp,Mc,Squirtle, Genius , and Parting. MajOr - Curious to see how good he's become, his recent toe-to-toe with PuMa indicates he might stand a pretty good chance. Scarlett - One of the best and most reliable NA players. EU: Nerchio - Incredibly good zerg, stands a good chance vs most koreans. MaNa - Recent Up and Down group gave me hope for him, dont want to count him out and i feel we got good zerg representation allready. DeMusliM - Still waiting for him to be consistent for an entire tournament.
