Nerchio felt like a no brainer, harder after that. Ended up picking Sortof(over Vortix in a way I guess) and Lucifron. So my picks were: Scarlett, Major, Nerchio, Sortof and Lucifron. SortOf is bad at ZvT. That's not good against Koreans.

Still, in europe you need to be top 16 out of 56. I don't think that you can get into the qualifier without being popular. I guarantee you all 16 out of those 56 players won't be flakes. Even if ThorZain, WhiteRa and DeMuslim get in (no offense to them, but they've been falling off), there will still be 13 other spots. More than plenty chances for that slightly under the radar but amazing player to get in. Demu is in a pretty decent run of form actually. Taking out Inori and Nerchio at IEM and Violet in the Guanzho qualifier. Thorzain is still the best foreign Terran overall. White-Ra I agree with.

I think there are 2 solutions for that: 1) Only choose 14 players from the vote and have an open tournament for the other 2 spots. 2) Have an "elimination-style" vote: Invite the player with the most votes every day and remove him from the list, then restart the vote. This way people can vote for the 13th seed, 14th seed etc. and it will make the vote more exciting imo.

Taking out Inori and Nerchio at IEM and Violet in the Guanzho qualifier. Thorzain is still the best foreign Terran overall. White-Ra I agree with. The Spoon Terran comes into this tournament on a ten game losing streak, with a losing record over the past two months, having recently recovered from a bad bout of tonsillitis, and having spent about fifty hours streaming the HotS beta in the last week. What can we say? Things aren't looking so great for the definitely-not-cursed-ThorZaIN. Coupled with his relatively early knock out in WCS, "best foreign Terran overall" is a title up for grabs at this point. Though one cool thing about popular players securing themselves a spot, is that they have a chance to redeem themselves. If they buckle down and focus their efforts on improving themselves, and ultimately qualify, it's a way for them to show us all that they still have the chops. It also reemphasizes the importance of marketing yourself to your audience. Like it or not, hardcore fans will always remain hardcore fans, but the market for SC2 is catering towards a growing audience of players who may not understand or even play the game very much. If you want to remain relevant and given opportunities like this, you can't just be that skilled player that no one knows about.

Nerchio, Vortix and Lucifron It was very hard to decide but I think is a good mix between popularity and skill. Now let's hope they do fine in the qualifiers X_X

Would Scarlett and Nerchio take part? They are both come across as a little reluctant to travel at times.
