i dont remember idra raping major, and i also think major is a better player overall, even if i am an idra fan

At WCS NA IdrA wrecked Major. The second game in particular he made Major look like a low masters player. He beat Illusion at both WCS USA and NA.

People are just being ridiculous at this point.

That's not elitist, the hype train on Scarlett is going way to fast. She won 2 NA only tournaments and beat Hero in one series with latency.

Most of the WCS National tournaments were harder than WCS NA and the players are proven to be better.

Lets all be honest here, can we replace all the North Americans with more picks from Europe??

edit: no I'm not a european, I'm from Canada, I'd take anyone top 10 europe over the best play in north american. Idra/Scarlett? Come on guys, lets get serious here, lol, the only time they look good is when they play other north americans.

Most people did not read the entire post (ignoring the bold parts).

The title of the Poll is also slightly misleading

"Choose three players to represent Europe in the GSL World Championship"

Should be something like

"Choose three players to play in a 16 man bracket to fight for one of 3 spots to represent Europe in the GSL World Championship"

It's a showmatch. IPL is an NA organization, event is held in the US, viewership from NA will be significant, etc.

And of course, there are NA players than can take games off of top Koreans. Major has looked pretty solid recently, Scarlett has looked quite strong, and seemed a level above the rest of NA, Illusion has already beaten multiple Code S level players in LANS, etc.

I for one would love to see Illusion to play in this showmatch.

For gods sake people, they're already guaranteed a spot 100%. It's a complete waste of a vote. You're not affecting ANYTHING. Instead vote for someone like tgun who deserves to get Top 16 for this opportunity.
