Finally! No more stupid MM/DD/YYYY! This. So much this. I mean, Middle/Smallest/Biggest, who the fuck came up with that? I hope that when this hits EU (if it hasn't already) that it sorts out the terrible lag issues I've had recently. Today's date is September 17th, 2012. Month Day, Year. That's how everyone says it, that's who came up with that... Actually we here say 17 September 2012. Yeah I basically ALWAYS hear 17th of September, it makes so much more sense lol, i think pretty much the entire world says it like that ><
I love how americans get called out for being arrogant, while this post is far far more arrogant. No, the entire world does not say it the way you do. Its different in Asian countries, its different in the Americas, stop making vast generalizations.

Cool little patch! Glad that they fixed with AlternateLowTextures, even though there was a solution to that earlier I guess it's easier now.

explains why RVPs were so op that they broke every map and no one used them. Well making workers more effective for a person who has an advantage breaks comebacks anyway. *remembers PvZs involving golds without rocks*

Yes, its different, some countries uses YYYY/MM/DD ( Hungary for example ) while others DD/MM/YYYY but noone else uses MM/DD/YYYY other than you

Personally I prefere the YYYY/MM/DD format, makes it easier for sorting.
But back to the patch, just loving this new patch and how they fixed that annoying bug of THE LADDER.

Hope it fixes the crashes I have been having lately, can't play a normal game anymore without my client crashing and losing dem precious points.....

well month/day/year is the most esthetically pleasing, smallest number/bigger number/biggest number
anyways, will this fix arcade causing me to load matches 10-15 seconds slow?

I have never heard it said that way in my life, You would literally say It is the "17'th of September, 2012", as the normal standard here and id bet in most of europe. "Thats how everyone says it" is an arrogant and wrong statement unless you count "everyone" as being the population of the US
That's how we say it here in Canada too. But it doesn't matter. Differences are what makes us great and learn from each other.

Can anyone actually play after patching their game?
I can't either can any of my friends.
Are the servers down? Nope, quick match screen is blank, no race icons or game modes, and my profile page has nothing there. Can play customs though.
Agreed here, but does anyone OUTSIDE of SEA clients having issues?
|
I hope they continue optimizing the Mac client, there is a lot of work to be done there !
and also :
The league icon displayed in the Quick Match page is now centered. This was noticed by a reddit user, it's cool to see that they pay attention to those details

Hmm, interesting patch. I hope it'll enhance the mac performance for real... Cause I haven't gotten that great results since 1.5.0

User was warned for this post The statement is not incorrect. It's even officially as a consequence the encouraged format in the US military. Although the NATO data format is CCYY/MM/DD. Which is in my nerdy opinion the superior notation.
Either way it's a good change, software should use the system locale, so everyones happy, regardless of how senseless the national convention. TL should really be doing the same (or using korean format ), at least the written months avoid confusion in the first half of the month.
The SEA server situations pretty bad. How did they manage to break the ladder with such small changes, I love Starcraft but man do the devs look incompetant sometimes...

damn, i wanted op ravens

Great. Maybe now I can play in Peepmode without it being an ordeal. :3
