Streaming time - quote from the contract: 150 hours per month, unless having a series of training events or trips to StarCraft II tournaments. We are all humans, we are not forcing the players to stream 4 hours a day.
Streaming ad-revenue: Thanks to strategic partnership with Twitch, players living in the house still can earn more money from ad-revenue than they normally could, Fuzer didn't even had any partnership before that. 150 hours per month is 5 hours a day....

Well, to be honest, I think MoW doesn't look all great here and should get their shit together, but at the same time it seems to me like Fuzer is just a big drama queen and is actually making it look much bigger than it really is.

doesnt change my point as you can see.

Honestly I think the only dodgy issue with this whole thing is their initial refusal to refund the money owed. Other than that this is really just the standard e-sports community blowing things up way more than necessary.

Would be pretty funny if someone who lived their claimed tenant rights and over extended their stay. I don't know how it is in Poland (or maybe EU laws) but in some states in the United States you can't be evicted until 90 days have passed and sometimes only with the force of a sheriff. Even if you're behind rent.

This stuff is really shady MoW. First you dont want to post anything on TL but on an "official" esports site or something.. Then you accidentally start the flame war here in TL a few hours later with edited pictures of skype chat logs...

He meant their players can do 20 hours one day, rest 3 days lolol.

Erm..... yes.. you are? If they don't have a series of training events or trips to SC2 tourneys, how do you propose they stream 150 hours per month if you aren't forcing them to stream 4 hours a day?
What, 10 hours on Monday, 0 hours on Tuesday... repeat?

He should get his money back regardless if MoW wants to save any face.

September 13th, 2012.
Warsaw, Poland, September 13 – It with is with a great sadness and regret that we must ever part ways prematurely with a participant. We take the environment and the progression of each and every participant at MoW very seriously. The specific arrangements between a participant and the facility are kept strictly confidential and we have and will continue to make every effort to fulfill our obligations to both our participants and the greater community. We are grateful for your continued support as we continue our pursuit of genuine innovation, fueled by our shared passion and dedication for helping our participants achieve greatness. Thank you!

I don't see any reason why Fuser would have to lie about this. Not giving the contract to the players lawyer for review is VERY shady, and I don't see why they would care what his lawyers credentials are. For all I care let his dad review the contract.
Alone the skype conversation shows what type of scum the so called "boss" is, that's really all you need to see to know it's true.
If the conditions for some players are like this, I think all players should drop payments/support to MoW immedeately to show them whats up.
|
MoW is buisness, you pay with cash, and get something for it. If you don't like it, don't pay and don't buy it. A lot of people made really great effort to creat that gaming house, and now just one irresponsible young guy, that can't even take care of himself and doesn't know what is he even doing, is destroying all of the hard work. Community is blind, they will read, won't think, won't wait after the end of this case, and build totaly wrong opinion just because Fuzer is irresponsible. Personaly, I would never pay 2500 zl to live there, not even half of that, but there are poeple who want to do it. And they can read, and understand agreement. It's like shiting on apple just beacuse their iphones are so expensive. You don't have that much money or don't like options - don't buy it, simple like that.
Congratulations Fuzer, you can be proud of yourself. So fucking easy to ruin someone's life.

I am concerned about the article. If this was supposed to be written by a "trusted eSports news source", why is it then written like a letter of defense? I'm not saying ESFI can't be trusted, but there might be a conflict of interest here. Why does the reporter ask desrow about the positive sides with the house? The questions should solely focus on the contract and the situation between Fuzer and Maciej Krupowies, not about the greatness of Ministry of Win. And why is Ministry of Win the first one to post the ESFI article?
|
I still dont see why they wont pay money back, when fuzer wanted to leave. This is what happens when you employ person who is infamous, its stricking back. Nothing can help MoW now. They are just greedy.
