Who the hell is your boss? He needs a good first to the face for what he has done. To me he sounds a cockey/dodgey buisness man and with that comes to mind GO TO HELL! Dude I feel for you, losing out on money due to a corrupte boss who hides as he would not provide the contract to your layaw! By law if you wanted your layaw to see your contract then they should not detain the information from him as this clearly shows they are hiding! I hope that everone leaves the house and puts the dumb ass so called boss out of buisness!

Would be pretty funny if someone who lived their claimed tenant rights and over extended their stay. I don't know how it is in Poland (or maybe EU laws) but in some states in the United States you can't be evicted until 90 days have passed and sometimes only with the force of a sheriff. Even if you're behind rent.

That would be awesome. Especially if they did it in winter. I some provinces in Canada you can't be evicted if the temperature is below a certain range.

I doubt these kind of laws exist in Poland but I have no idea.

But without having signed a contract he's a squatter, not a tenant.

They do, and besides normal situations, they are completely insane when it comes to woman with children. Basically impossible to evict anyone unless you yourself get them another place to live.

Oh god, I hope the other people who are staying there read this thread. Maybe invite a couple of romani friends over.

Funny how desRow basically confirmed everything in Fuzer's post just in a less critical tone (prob cus he doesn't want to lose his free spot there :p). Also, it's true that neither party seems very professional here, the difference is Fuzer is just a guy who plays games while the other party is supposed to be a serious business. You can't seriously have "sketchily worded" contracts and expect people to just sign them on the spot, lol.

Seriously Liquid needs to pull out from MoW. Teamliquid just can't be part of shady stuff like this. Seriously. Get Ret out of there. Teamliquid is supposed to be the good guys above all this shit. You just can't be part of this when the manager is what it is and the way they're threating some players.

It is all about because we have removed him from the house. He was acting really childish through the past 30 days. Last time he came to me with the money he threw them at me and said "This is the money for my stay".

Furthermore we would like to state, that the Ministry of Win Contract Agreement has been created with the cooperation of the original five guests of the house. It took us two weeks of intense collaboration to ensure that the final document is the most convenient for both the players themselves and us. In light of numerous violations of the house rules and a general lack of respect towards both fellow residents and the staff of Game Zone Sp. z o.o. (L.L.C.) as of yesterday (11th September 2012) Fuzer has been asked to leave the house. An amicable solution could have not been reached although such has been proposed.

This is getting worse, are actually quoting yourself saying "if you start a war you are not getting your money back", thats what you saying becaouse you are using the word OR. You are offering 2 options. You are not guaranteing his money back.

I didn't have much of an opinion before reading this MoW post. I can't believe someone trying to be professional and in a position of power would say that... MoW sounds like I did when I was 15. This just makes me sad. So tired of crap like this.

To me, It's starting to look like a relationship that was never going to work, but as MoW i think I would never have taken the risk, just give fuzer the money immediately and let him go as a "failure" of the project rather than running the risk of THIS happening.

The statement released by MoW makes little sense. They say they have a skype convo of fuzer refusing the money back, but they don't show it, whereas Fuzer shows concrete evidence that they wouldn't refund him. Desrow mentioned that the 10 year rule of not getting into another team house is accurate which is completely ridiculous. Just seems like an unproffessional and sketchy organization

This doesn't seem that bad. You're living in a balling house so obviously they need to recover the expenses somehow. And non-competitive clauses never hold up under legal scrutiny. Drama from nothing.

600€ a month per person is beyond that, excluding the streaming revenue. Don't forget we're talking about Poland here. I haven't even seen any evidence for the house being "balling".

and btw:

According to current MoW house resident desRow, Fuzer's description of certain details of the contract, including a 10-year non-compete clause and streaming quotas, are accurate. “The prohibition of competition page is a bit sketchy, but I think it just needs to be reworded,” he said.

How can you be oblivious enough to still sign that when it's clearly BS? Needs to be reworded BEFORE you sign it Oo

It looked really nice. Right, there's a rental fee and some of that fee is subsidized by streaming revenue. Guess what? If you don't like it, then don't live there. This is a privately-run house.

It would make sense if the conditions met the sum. They clearly don't, even desrow who doesn't even pay doesn't jump from joy apparently. The let him come there under the impression they would renegotiate and change parts of the contract and required him to make his lawyer forward them a legal license after? Really? Fuck, I worked for a multi million dollar business and had a pretty tight NDA/NCC and even those guys didn't care whether I provided that about my lawyer. Much less some random private business in Poland. It's far from common practice and just an obstructive tactic around Europe. It's not only about "take it or leave it". It's much more about what they're doing with people who have no idea what they're really getting into due to lack of experience with this kind of thing. Is it generally reasonable to run this as a business with this kind of business model? Sure. Is the conduct they display in any ways a reflection of this kind of thing being done in a reasonable, agreeable way? Absolutely not.

WELL, now that both side has released their statements, and both side offered us nothing but "my words vs his", now what? Should we still write to their sponsors? I mean honestly, with no further proof of anything, are you guys still going to make assumptions based on he said i said she said?

People reading what they want to read, zzz. Desrow said the streaming and the ability to not create their own team house after 10 years is accurate. MoW also provided part of the skype chat where they offered to give him the money. Which is what everyone asked for but now its apparently not enough.

If Fuzer paid in cash for rent, he is more than obligated to enforce his rights as a tenant. Just because Boss was foolish to accept cash doesn't negate Fuzer his tenant rights.

i'm really not sure whether i'd go saying there was anything wrong with the contract per se (especially considering CNCs like that won't ever hold up) enough to make noise about it, but man is ministry of win's "damage control" about the issue only fueling the flames. refusing to refund the initial payments screams sketchy business practices and trying to subvert that fact by cherrypicking post-drama chatlogs is dishonest. the "statement" released was obviously not written by anyone prepared to write up a statement about any goddamn thing. not just in the sense of "not an english native" but in the sense of "that is not a statement about anything and anyone who can read can see it".

my impression is that ministry of win might well be a good place for progamers to practice at (as ret and titan say), but i've my doubts whether it's any thanks to the mow administration rather than the players themselves.

Lol.

We'll give you your money back if you don't say anything. If you say something, we won't give you your money back.

Good Job MoW. This statement makes you look so good LOL

Not necessarily, there are higher burden on things like living and rent agreements etc.

Basically, without a written contract it's up to the judge.

I'm all for TL pulling out their players of MoW. They basically confirmed everything Fuser said in the press release. Neither the community or any pro-teams should support this organisation.
