Imho she just wants the attention. I mean, there is no reason in asking day9 for personal lessons as a complete newbie besides the PR. Watching some of his dalies about beginner stuff and just playing the game will probably help more than waiting for him to tell her that there are 2 types of resources and workers harvest them.
I wouldn't be too surprised if day9 agrees though. The viewer count will probably be pretty high.
Vaguely remember Day9 saying he didn't want to do it on a State of the Game way back when. Might have been about someone else though, can anyone confirm?

Why do you care that others care? It's really seems the case that the people most distraught about the attention given to a an 'unworthy' person are themselves guilty of further drawing attention to said 'unworthy' person.
This is more a general observation then directed specifically at Toolazy. It just happened to be a poignant example.

Well that's just the thing. People get upset that other people care and are discussing something they feel is unworthy of attention. So what do they do? They join in the discussion, which usually starts an argument aka more discussion and more attention. If you truly don't like that people care enough to discuss it, but then you join in discussion, you're creating your own monster by drawing attention to it.
It's like those news channels that moan and complain about how the media are focusing on such trivial matters. "Look at x station, all they talk about is how much the politician weighs. Look at y station, they keep on drawing attention to this politician's family. Family is off the table for discussion."
Wait a minute. You're the media... and all you're doing is focusing on the trivial matters that everyone else also talks about. You are your own problem.
