However, I would argue this HELPS his revenue. Look at Howard Stern? Someone of Destiny's ability... good, though it is... is only good. He's not top 1%. Hell, he's not even Puma-level. Flash? fuhgetaboutit! What I'm saying is that publicity stunts like this only end up hurting Root, and the credibility of Destiny... though not intact... only adds to his revenue in the end. People love this shit. | ||

The most utter respect for CatZ and ROOT-management for making this decision. There is no doubt in my mind it was a heartbreaking one to make. Reading CatZ replies on the forum at ROOTgaming makes it easy to understand. Putting the teams future above his personal feelings and relationship with Destiny shows great professionalism. Unfortunately haters are loud and very vocal compared to all of us silent supporters. Maybe it is time for us to speak up too. I know it is a long shot, but hopefully it can be a start. From today on I promise myself and my fellow ROOT-fans to more actively show my love and support and I hope more of you will do the same. | ||

Destiny is the only person who has anything to gain from this. Why is it that everyone get so hung up about the private conversation that Destiny have with his two friend about just how "fuckable" a person is? Honestly, I don't think it was really that bad and I doubt the girl would care enough about that to do what she did. What I find absolutely unforgivable is that fact that he would share a very private and exposed picture or her to his friend without the consent. That right there is an absolute and utter betrayal of trust and would make any person feels humiliated. Hell, if he view so little of her that he was willing to pass pictures to his buddies just so they all can have a good laugh at it with total disregard to what that would do to her or how she would feels about it. I don't see how she should feel any obligation to put his person and professional well being into consideration. But then again, everything is okay at long as it wasn't supposed to be public and she should know about it in the first place right? Hell, I should totally try to remember that the when I try to ask my close friends to give me some picture of his wife to see just how "fuckable" she is. I'm sure everything should totally be okay as long as his wife wasn't supposed to find about about it. | ||

Im the first one to be critical of pro gamers when they flame to much on stream (by too much i mean going to far), but this fuckin situation is really ugly. By that i mean him getting kicked off the team. Guess you cant be a pro gamer and get laid huh :x 2 many jealous geeks in this community! That being said, I think the whole thing is hilarious, if it could have just stayed like that and witch hunters didnt take their pitchforks out of their ass it would actually be a pretty funny story. It seems like a pretty normal conversation between friends (albeit akward that he doesn't seem to have close enough friends IRL to discuss this with). Who can truly say he hasn't had a conversation like this (aka 'That girl is interested in having sex with me, would you hit that). I sure as hell know I have had these. Yes, he PM'ed them nude pics. This was to prove his point about her having a nice body, not to look down on her. Since all he disapproves about her is her face, the normal picture would've been enough for that. Sure, a convo like that gets leaked, and she has your email pw, you can pretty much expect "revenge" like that, but that's it. It's then roots decision to release him, because of the public image. As would be the decision of any employer. Would necessarily having anything to do with what he did, but simply the fact "he" posted his dick on the internet. But why anyone around here would now go on and consider himself the moralist to punish him or judge him for that, when 90% of their nerd sexlife consist of watching porn over the internet is beyond me. | ||
