Chad Johnson headbutting his girlfriend has nothing to do with Football, but it got him kicked off the Dolphins didn't it? You're associated with companies who intend on making money off a brand you wear on your shoulders. You're professionals at that point and your SPONSORS typically expect you to conduct yourself as such. If the rest of the pro community is as short sighted as you're being, I really fear for the future of eSports. Did you really just compare domestic assault to this? I'm trying to wrap my mind around that. Apples and oranges I'd say.

Of course, everyone would rather have neither, but in some cases (such as this), one has to choose and I'm pretty sure anyone with a semi-functional thought process would say the small pile.

Look I'm sure he only sent those pics to Bluetea so that she could double-check that everything was OK before he sent them to his girl. Fortunately she informed him that he should manscape first, Destiny did so, and his GF got herself some high quality gifts.

[/quote] Are people missing this point or I just missed the answer? If she confronted him first and he ignored her and didn't even apologize, then he's just a dick (as if we haven't established that yet) and deserves what comes at him. [/QUOTE Nope they just brush off things that make their idol look bad i.e. the truth. They are pathetic anyway thinking that his unbecoming is because of this one event. He has it coming with the way he treats others in general unfortunately his legions enjoy such behaviour. Funny how they say destiny is nice when face to face but generally shitty beings your back. News flash on the definition of two face

If the rest of the pro community is as short sighted as you're being, I really fear for the future of eSports. And a ridiculous amount of pro sportsmen get away with objectionable behaviour all the time. Wayne Rooney can go out and buy a middle aged hooker, but does he get fired from Manchester United? I don't know why people are so desperate for E-sports to grow to an equivalent size anyway. If you want the scene to be full of anodyne non-personalities, afraid to speak their minds for fear of offending their sponsors, then fair enough.

The idea is pretty simple. It doesn't matter if its related to the sport or job. Actions done in any atmosphere can effect your career. Just like that CFO who got fired for harassing that girl at the drive thru window at Chik Filet a few weeks back. Its pretty simple.

Goes back to my shit analogy I suppose. It is not apples and Oranges. Is domestic violence worse than some shitheel showing nude pics of a girl to his friends? Of course. The real question is, are both really bad? Yes, they are both really bad.

Do you know how things work in practice in comparison to principle? for following your logic and your bad analogy, a person who steals bubble gum and a person who steals a car should be treated the same way, for hey, in principle they both stole something which is bad.. but you and I both know that there is a huge difference in practice, just look at the laws, practice is key, not principle.

They make money off his public persona. Hes not dumb, you're not dumb, you know why this happened. Hes your friend, I get it.

Tiger Woods based his image around being a good kind of whole, family guy. Destiny has no such deception at the heart of his appeal. He is who is he is and is pretty unashamed about it. Sponsors in the case of Mr Woods withdrew because of the discrepancy between Wood's public face and his private behaviour. At least that's how I read it.

I would've used a better analogy, but i'm more knowledgeable regarding pop idols
