looking at this from the outside, a lot of people can assume destiny had some weird scandalous fling with some random bitch, she got back at him and now he's paying for it and responding in all the wrong ways. but looking deeper into it, i sort of find it hard to believe that what we're seeing is the end of everything. i think there's a lot of hurt and bitterness and personal bullshit mixed into this that no one is considering because everyone's getting too masturbatory about the possibility of destiny being a huge dick.
we'll probably (hopefully) never know any of the details on whatever personal issues are behind this, but we can deduce this much: bluetea had all of destiny's passwords (among other obvious things) for a reason. and if she had those passwords, it is very likely that she had his skype as well. considering this, it's clear that she wasn't just some random fangirl that he decided to post nudes of. he seemed to act like the pics WERE just of some random fan when he sent them to his friends, and it makes destiny look really slimy and all, but we don't actually know why. who knows, maybe he didn't disclose who she was to protect her? maybe he'd had some domestic issues with her and he was just blowing off steam by dicking around with his ROOT bros? there are so many factors that go into this, yet so many ways to look at this that just make destiny look bad.
overall, when i met destiny at MLG providence, i honestly thought he was the coolest and friendliest american player i'd encountered. he signed autographs for everyone who asked. he took the time to leave a funny voicemail for my friend, a big fan of his, between some games he was playing. he hung out with all of his extremely giddy fans and didn't act like he was above any "civilians". i'd like to believe he isn't the asshole he's been made out to be here, that he's just caught up in a plethora of complicated issues with a bitter ex-girlfriend, and that he's just responding the way he's responding out of anger and embarrassment. no matter how you slice this, it's embarrassing for destiny, especially when you consider how boorish this community is about shit like this.
all things considered, i don't even know if it's right of us to blame him for his response, because we don't know what provoked that either. the one thing i think we can all be sure of is that the things we saw today from this explosion of drama are things that the public should never have seen, and both destiny and bluetea are responsible for that. but i really do sympathize with destiny, because regardless of who's right or wrong, the man had his shit hijacked and his wang posted pretty much everywhere. he said some dumb shit and did some dumb shit, but he never posted any bluetea nudes publicly. nothing bad happened to bluetea in all of this. in the end, his spot on a team is compromised and his integrity is more in question than ever before, while bluetea laughs it up. she won. i genuinely don't have the heart to blame destiny for wanting to bite back with a few idle threats.
i suppose it's good that catz ballsed up and showed that he can draw the line on things like this and not defend people in his team just for being his buddy (especially considering destiny isn't the only dude on ROOT with a somewhat checkered history), but i wish it had been waited on a bit, when things blew over or were at least better clarified. whether you think destiny's a dick, a victim of his own bad karma or just a regular guy being overkill punished for some bad decisions, i think we should all agree not to play god here and act like it's any of our places to judge him this brutally.

I may have the sequence of events out of order here, but to my knowledge Destiny made fun of her looks with TT1 and Fayth and leaks some photos. After the fact, she found out what was said and leaked his pictures over the internet which is what got this ball of shit rolling..
Did Destiny handle the situation like an adult? No, but we have to consider how immature the person has to be to even get to this point to begin with.

I was simply saying, most guys have pissed a girl off and had that girl come back at them twice as hard. There are a variety of different punch lines and such to go along with the idea.

Just like she was most likely seriously pissed off when she heard the guy who she shared nude pics with called her butt ugly, so she did an emotional, stupid thing. Not an excuse here, either.
The point of being an adult is to react in an adult fashion to issues like these. Neither party has done a very good job of showing us that they're adult human beings in this case.

The keyword here is that big "if" in your second sentence. From what has been said here and there, she has been found out to lie about a few things, ie she stated that someone in Texas gave her the chat log, that was found out to be false. Would it really be that farfetched to think she would lie to continue to strengthen her position and make Destiny look even worst?

I actually used to be a Destiny fan, enjoyed his stream. However I do feel he has this very questionable way of treating women that is very off-putting to me, but equally I think the guy should be left alone and not dragged through this kind of drama time and time again by people who have nothing better to do.

Reading all these posts flaming and what not.. you can't really go passed the whole issue on a larger scale.. it will only escalate to become who will do what to be right.
i.e - Destiny showed the pics to his friends (in private) - ok this can be seen as a bad thing but if he considers these people as family then obviously he was betrayed, then some will argue that he shouldn't of sent them at all (each to his own).
the next argument is what the girl went and did.. is it considered payback? i think it was more along the lines of "destroying a reputation" a small group of guys compared to what 37,000 people on twitter and personal email... why couldn't she just go and post it to a smaller private basis.. guess she always had big plans in mind.
people are arguing about this on the small basis, i don't honestly agree with what the girl did in regards to "getting back at steve" and the steve posting pics to his friends... but others are going to say "good on her for doing what she did after she was humiliated..
Just weigh up the differences.. Small group of people that you can count on 2 hands, compared to the number of people that can be seen at big sporting events.. hell some football games don't even get that many numbers.
