As emotionally invested as people are on this topic, TL rules still apply. That includes flaming and ad hominem attacks. |

Actually destiney is at fault, i don't really think anyone else can be blamed for his sharing those pics, or his response to what blue tea did.

If you email sponsors about shit.... Go. Just go and find another community to be a part of. I'd bet the hypersensitive killjoys always need more. EVEN when teams like ROOT give in to the sponsors demands (get rid of player X) do you think you've helped anything? NO. You just gave esports bad publicity. Why the hell should a sponsor stay with a team when some idiots keep emailing them every month about how X made you feel bad. If this keeps up, before too long there will be no sponsors left in the damn scene. If you emailed the ROOT sponsors about this... just realize that you did something that is beyond stupid and grow a thicker skin. It's the damn internet ffs.
Edit: Oops, just saw that reddit thread from those sexist women. Sorry SC2 community, guess it wasn't all your fault this time. There might have been a few who did send emails but as far as I'm concerned the blame now rests on the shoulder of extremely sexist redditors.

To email a sponsor is such a low thing to do, for whatever reason

First off, she wasn't a "random fangirl", as it is clearly indicated by the fact that Destiny was willing to share his email info with her and the fact that she was scheduling classes and stuff for him. Second off, Destiny isn't really some kind of a rock star who gets mailed nude pictures by fangirls. The fact that he had her nude pictures would indicate that he shared some kind of a relationship with the girl and she placed a certain amount of faith in him, which he clearly didn't respect. So no. I donowachusayin. You'd be surprised how many pros get sent nude fangirl pics... especially during events. You'd be even more surprised at how many of them are under age.

Rofl this whole story is so childish, it's quite ridiculous. How old are those guys ? Like 15 or something ?

And they're not. They are jumping the "chain of command" if you will. Destiny fucked up. A proper reaction from the upset fan would be to contact ROOT management or Destiny's personal sponsors (if he has any). Contacting ROOT's sponsors is reserved for when the collective organization of ROOT or their head, CatZ, fucks up.

Yeah, but I did not show nudes of my girlfriend/exes to them, or let them know my login details for everything.
It was his actions that even made this situation possible,

I'm gonna have to support you on this one. After all she did, why the fuck would she get all mysterious about the "someone" who emailed her. I just hope that I'm not wrong.
