Can't speak for Korea but this move would DEFINITELY give OSL the advantage in China.
I enjoy Grubby's casting, think he'd make a great addition to OGN. In regards to Moletrap, I've personally never liked his casting; however, I'm not going to go out my way to see he loses his job or anything.
In short, OGN if you're reading this, I think Grubby and Doa would be a pretty cool combo to try out. If that doesn't work, I'm cool with moletrap. Side note, you should let Sayle restream OSL.

yes of course that Koreans know him. He won multiple titles there and also wcg, and was few times finalist. But im excited that this can drag Chinese players since there are plenty of incredible talents there and they love him. Alao to mention that he lived in Korea and China long time so that is certainly a plus

We do not exist for them to use as practice audience, they exist to entertain us and are we not entertained then they should not keep their job. Moletrap as far as I can tell is not entertaining the majority and alot of people chose not to watch because of him as a caster.
The silent minority is who hates him. Saying that most people aren't entertained is stupid and baseless. A couple hundred loudmouthed TLers is not a majority.
As far as I can tell. I have to base it on something and if everyone who likes him keeps quiet on the forums I read then thats an unfortunate coincidence but still remains true. Out of all the comments ive seen sub 10% has been moletrap friendly. What conclusion should I draw? Im not saying its THE TRUTH, im saying thats what it looks like. If people really like him they should start defending him instead of keeping quiet.
This thread (as an example) is over 40% Moletrap friendly.
and the comments below every gomtv VOD ive read that he has casted has been completly anti moletrap. I do not know why we are discussing this anyways, that was not the point, if it makes you feel better thinking that moletrap is generally approved as a caster by the community do so. Hes most certinly a very nice person and all and I dont wish him bad things I just dont want to watch things he casts in SC2.. But ive besides kelly milkies ive seen no caster getting so much hatred as moletrap and certinly that says something? We can argue % here and there but it doesnt matter, none of us knows anything for a fact.
Im leaving this now, I was only tired seeing someone yet again whining about casters getting bashed, if people dont like them it should be perfectly fine to say so.

Just as a little note: Almost every comment I've ever read on GSL VOD's has been negative. That community being toxic doesn't speak to the overall, but that's just in pertainence to that specifically.
Really glad he is doing this, and even more glad that he won't be there too long. I love his casting, but any longer than what has been announced and his play would suffer.

Look at the title of this thread. Look at what you're posting.
Can't you at least keep this shit in the right place?
Grubby is one of my absolute favorite players, and by FAR my favorite caster. I'm a bit torn about this though, as I don't want him to lose his momentum as a player. I'm not a fan of Moletraps casting, so i'm really glad he will spice up the OSL, especially since Sayle isn't allowed to cast it anymore. I was actually considering watching the OSL in Korean commentary up until this announcement.
I seriously don't get people that complain on Moletrap. Moletrap is a good caster, he is alot more updated than any caster out there except for Artosis and he has good imput. If you have a problem with his voice, get treatment for your ears or something.
Grubby has great knowledge about the game so this is a pretty good choice. However, one of Moletrap's biggest flaw is he tends to start screaming over his co-caster, which is incredibly annoying. I've noticed he doesn't scream as much when he is solo casting, hopefully that carries over when he starts casting with Grubby.

Um, the reason you don't understand why people complain about Moletrap is that you have no idea what it means to be up to date on the game. Moletrap is about as knowledgeable as Total Biscuit, and TB doesn't pretend to know anything about the game.
I'd rather listen to almost any caster other than Moletrap to be honest with you.

I was wondering about his momentum too but I don't think he will have an issue. He is naturally gifted at commentating and a very charismatic person, I wouldn't have thought he would need to worry about practising it, plus the OGN schedules aren't too demanding, 1.30 hours a day for the OSL tops and the PL isn't that much over 1.30 per match either. Of course he is in Korea too, can't get much better than that for practise.
Kinda weird considering Grubby comes from WC3 rather than BW. His personal affection toward the OSL is likely far lower than moletrap's. Still, he's funny and knowledgeable, and they could have done a lot worse. Having Sayle cast could've been a great community service, but it's not a very wise corporate decision, seeing that nothing is known about Sayle's professional stature.
