Because Sayle has work still, and his workplace is in a period where all hands on deck are needed, as hes stated MULTIPLE times on his stream. You can't just throw away your real life obligations on a whim.

Honestly, I think they keep Moletrap around because he understands Korean. I don't know if he's a good LoL caster but if he is, maybe OGN should just keep him there and hire an interpreter for Grubby instead.
EDIT: All right, he's not that bad in the OSL. Still, it wouldn't hurt for him to read up more on SC2. It would help a lot more given the OSL features a lot of these analysis sessions before and after games. Maybe pairing him with Grubby is a good thing for him as he now has someone who can help him with the technicalities of the game.
Still, casting by himself, I don't think he's a Day9 or anything but he's doing an okay job.

Um, the reason you don't understand why people complain about Moletrap is that you have no idea what it means to be up to date on the game. Moletrap is about as knowledgeable as Total Biscuit, and TB doesn't pretend to know anything about the game.

He's not a bad caster. He's a bad analyst. There are many great casters out there who cannot do hardcore analysis like Wheat and TB. I used to dislike TB because he would try to give analytic input when he didn't know what he was talking about, but after receiving criticism, he stopped doing that. Moletrap, however, continues to try and work as an analyst and he can't.
He still gets a lot of supporters because not everyone understands the game well enough to see how much he says that is flat out wrong. If he would just make the switch to casting more like Wheat or TB, I think a much larger percentage of people would enjoy his casting. Partnering him with Grubby is the best thing OGN could do. The ball is now in Moletrap's court. He needs to back off and accept his role as a play-by-play/color commentator.

I would def do this as well. Sayle is so awesome at casting and well grubby is just amazing.
We'll see how the Grubby-trap is... If Grubby doesn't let Moletrap talk over him, and corrects his mistakes... It might be doable. Of course there's still Moletrap's voice to worry about...
Grubby-Doa would be epic. I really hope that happens in the near future. Honestly, I like Grubby better as a caster than as a player, it lets more of his fun personality come out, and I think he could do better in the long run with it.
When does OSL even stream? I have so much issues findin' games and VODs. GOM seems more appealin' to foreign audiences. Would love to actually be able to catch OSL matches though, instead of just lookin' at results. (Yes I am implyin' that I failed to use the powerful tool that is "Google", the only results I found were in Korean, other than OGNLoL, and I'm not goin' to sit on twitch waitin' to see who pops up) If anyone can let me know what days/times that would be awesome!
Also on topic to thread! Grubby is an AMAZIN' caster. By far my favorite to watch any time he casts somethin'. Tastosis is still good, just not as good as someone like Grubby. Not only can he analyze, but he actually plays at a high level and can give you a better idea of what's goin' and what each player should be thinkin' their current position. Go Grubby! Hopefully Moletrap will sit back and do the play by play to lead into Grubby's analyzin', it'll help his reputation a lot. Nice guy, great play by play, terrible analyzin' (but that's common amongst most casters that aren't top tier players).

No one is entitled to a career you know.
I agree that some of the bashing has gone way overboard, but the idea of having consumers have to bear thru something which at best is so-so and at worst downright annoying just because of "his feelings" or "his passion" is silly.
I agree you get paid to do your job the best you can and if people still don't like then you should find yourself another career(not to be rude to moletrap) The consumer/majority Audience is and always will be right. Passion doesn't mean you can be bad at something and the public can't reject it.
Absolutely, I think that's fine. But the thing is, our community doesn't really have a history of calmly saying "hey, buck up soon or you're in trouble" Instead, it's just a bunch of hate that snowballs until the person is crushed. We could give moletrap an ultimatum or something for really getting his shit sorted out, and while that might not be an ideal solution it'd be a much better one than just going on another career ending rampage like we're prone to do.

but what's important is that even though it might not be necessary to be extremely nice to someone who isn't doing his job well it's by no means okay to release a shitstorm above someone everytime he makes a mistake.
For a long time Tastosis was the only caster duo I could stand watching. However with the recent decline in their enthusiasm (check out "Tastosis highlights" on YouTube, and compare them to the way they cast now), as well as the awesomeness that is khaldor/wolf, it made me think twice. And that was that it is very much possible for new caster duos to surpass the archons them self. Grubby / Doa could be the very birth of something really fresh that the community needs. Till then, wolfdor always leaves me satisfied with their enthusiastic and synchronised "GG" at the end of each match!
I said this before in another thread but interesting fact - Moletrap rarely interrupted anyone (if he did, he asked first if it was okay) and was more knowledgeable in BW than in SC2.
Now, some may not like Moletrap even in BW but the majority liked him and was at least fine with him (better in co casts because he did well).
I guess Moletrap isn't as interested in SC2 as in BW which is a bit disappointing. I want Moletrap to succeed. I do hope he tries to get into SC2 more to become a better caster.
He has the potential as seen in BW (and he did fine in BW).
Maybe one reason is that all of Moletrap's old co casters from BW are gone, so he's in new territory with new people (maybe uncomfortable for him). Though, I don't really know. I do wish things go well for him in the future and that he can improve so that we can see BW Moletrap except in SC2 (maybe more better too).
Also here's Moletrap and Klazart casting that infamous MSL Flash vs Jaedong Finals:
(Also Moletrap's thought on Jaedong given the win at around 24 minutes and 30 seconds. Basically he understands and makes the point it would have been unfair to Jaedong too if they did a rematch [in any case, it's a lose lose all around as it's hard to make the right calls].)
As you can see in the video (they start talking about the game instead of the players a minute in), Moletrap is much better in BW than in SC2 (especially with co casting).
Again, I hope somehow the old BW Moletrap returns (someone get Moletrap and Tasteless together so they can restore their passion!!!11).
