a good reason for Grubby to stay in Korea for some practice

hopefully this will not slow down his progress. I love his casting so much though just as his play

Nice! I really enjoy watching Grubby's streams and the events where he is shoutcasting. OSL should contact RotterdaM aswell, I bet they would be awesome shoutcasters together.

This is fantastic as long as Doa gets to keep his job once he's healthy again.

I dont know how i feel about this. Grubby is an amazing caster which would make it awesome but...
1) Grubby wont have as much time to practice SC2 professionally
2) Moletrap is a terrible caster (imo)

1) OSL is broadcasted twice a week, and even on these days the broadcast is not that long so he can practice. I think the benefit of playing on the Korean server largely outweight the practice time he will be loosing casting (he is already doing casting gigs anyway, because he needs to keep his brand strong).

2) Moletrap is a decent caster (imo) => your opinion, and mine are not that important.

I really love grubby's casting so would love to see him there, I also personally like moletrap, he just needs a better understanding of SC2.

But the opinion from 90% of the viewers is important. I can't believe that more then 10% of the people think that moletrap is a good caster. He is decent, yes, but not someone that should cast the OSL (I mean, we are talking about the motherfucking OSL!!!!!). I am a huge fan of the GSL, and I remember skipping every single game that was casted by moletrap. I would open the stream, hear his voice and close the stream immediately. Look me in the eyes and tell me that moletrap is on the same level as artosis, tasteless, dapollo, incontrol, day9... I know totalbiscuit gets a lot of bad comments, but I think he is much better then moletrap.

I like moletrap as a person tough. He seems to be a very good guy. But is he made for casting? I don't think so. This made me think about a quote from Einstein: "Everybody is a genius, but if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid". I think moletrap just shouldn't try to climb the casters tree.

On the other hand there is Grubby, an awesome caster, a caster I can watch endless hours. I actually think that Grubby is as good as tastosis, day9 and dapollo. He got a pleasant voice, he masters the english language so well, he has a sick amount game-knowledge, and he is a great and smart analyst.

Don't really understand why moletrap gets so much hate. I prefer him over DOA and media trained^He day[9], his first 200 daylies were soooooo much better. Grubby would be extremely nice though. He's got both the personality and serious skill. Could be trouble finding someone to pair him up with that would match well. If I was all powerfull I would put him with Mr.Bitter or InControl.

Ps. Sucks that esports casters are trying to look and act like soccer commentators. Be your fukin self PLZZZZZZ

He has very limited game knowledge and he has not enough carisma.

I wish people would finally stop using these types of arguments. We as viewers are perfectly entitled to critic casters. We do not exist for them to use as practice audience, they exist to entertain us and are we not entertained then they should not keep their job. Moletrap as far as I can tell is not entertaining the majority and alot of people chose not to watch because of him as a caster.

The silent minority is who hates him. Saying that most people aren't entertained is stupid and baseless. A couple hundred loudmouthed TLers is not a majority.

As far as I can tell. I have to base it on something and if everyone who likes him keeps quiet on the forums I read then thats an unfortunate coincidence but still remains true. Out of all the comments ive seen sub 10% has been moletrap friendly. What conclusion should I draw? Im not saying its THE TRUTH, im saying thats what it looks like. If people really like him they should start defending him instead of keeping quiet.

This thread (as an example) is over 40% Moletrap friendly.

and the comments below every gomtv VOD ive read that he has casted has been completly anti moletrap. I do not know why we are discussing this anyways, that was not the point, if it makes you feel better thinking that moletrap is generally approved as a caster by the community do so. Hes most certinly a very nice person and all and I dont wish him bad things I just dont want to watch things he casts in SC2.. But ive besides kelly milkies ive seen no caster getting so much hatred as moletrap and certinly that says something? We can argue % here and there but it doesnt matter, none of us knows anything for a fact.

Im leaving this now, I was only tired seeing someone yet again whining about casters getting bashed, if people dont like them it should be perfectly fine to say so.

Look at the title of this thread. Look at what you're posting.

Can't you at least keep this shit in the right place?

Are you stupid or what is your problem? I responded on a post in this thread that was about the way people critic casters and wether or not it should be done. I was in no way intending to start a discussion about moletraps be or not to be. You are the one who started that part of the discussion by claiming my "information" (that I never ever said was anything but personal experience). was false. Then after keeping that topic alive you whine on me for doing so? Get a grip.

No, you're stupid.

This Grubby thread is >50% Moletrap talk.

I didn't bring up Moletrap in this thread, you did, and every second user seems to. Go make a "Moletrap sucks" thread, it's how forums work.

He's there to cast firstmost, so the idea of getting a lot of practice in. Very unlikely. I mean there are a few guys who do it when they aren't casting depending on their schedule or workload.

Apollo got a lot better from playing a lot, but I have reason to believe Grubby won't have as much time to practice.

I don't really see him getting enough off-time to do it.

Don't tease me with a good time.

On topic, I'm hoping Grubby can get his excitement up a little bit, even though his analysis is always so beautifully done.
