I think this is an excellent post that highlights just how busy the KeSPA players are. Terrible example.. Woongjin got eliminated today,, they were practising for their pro league games before that.. KT still had proleague to practice for today even if there was no chance of making play offs., Same goes for STX. Therefore your argument is invalid. Hahah oh no 7 people had to prepare for 1 game each week.

They didnt shutdown the restreams during the BW-era, yeah sure they didnt make a stream for themselfs for the foreign watchers, but can you blame em? there just wasnt enough people to make it profitable i'd guess. Also they are new to the SC2 scene so can you atleast give em some time to get everything setup before you say stuff like that. It's not what they did or did not do in the BW-era that counts. It's the nature of their sponsors. If KeSPA's sponsors are all like Red Bull or LG, we can be sure they will cater to the international scene well. They need to. Since their operations are mostly Korean based except Samsung, the international scene will be an after thought, unless somehow it proves to be immensely profitable.
P.S. I still can't see a good reason for Samsung to remain in KeSPA.

So umm...any new developments? It seems like after that last update where ESF still refused to participate in the OSL, things seem to have "calmed down" a bit. Perhaps there are some behind the scenes discussions taking place? I would've expected KeSPA to make a move soon considering that OSL is only 2 days away.

Pretty sure the addition of proleague doesn't invalidate his argument. In fact it's still quite a good one.

Nope, nothing yet. It is Sunday though so we probably won't hear anything unless it is major.

Yes cause alot of people didnt follow it I'd assume. If you had some real interest in it you'd follow it anyway like alot of other people actually did.

In the qualifiers they face many opponents in a short time. They will not have to prepare for a specific opponent until the GSL starts. So preparing for PL doesn't matter, they prepare for the qualifiers at the same time.

GSL qualifiers aren't for another 10 days, during which KeSPA's main complaint was that their players schedules are just too busy. Are they really too busy to play in qualifiers? You tell me.

the last 2 years they did not have broadcasting rights for SC2, and technicall not even for BW, that why there was the damn lawsuit between Blizzard and OGN/MBC

Immense respect for ESF, not putting up with shit that Kespa likes to throw around
They (Kespa) have no leverage at all, SC2 is more of a international game and not centered around S. Korea, and it is not all that popular in Korea either meaning that their pull and power is significantly lessened.
Everyone but Kespa knows this, i am thrilled that ESF decided to play hardball, afterall you gotta fight fire with fire and not let a bully roll you over.

And seeing all the mess that starts as soon as they made the switch it was probably good that they had no broadcast rights.
