But, medecine is an (obviously) well-viewed career path, for what i know TONS of people apply to it, but there are very few places at the end of the first year. Something like 100 places for 5000 students. So, competition is very hare there, and only the bests and hard-workers ones can go through it. After that, you have differents career paths: some ends at something like 6 years, like the ones ruling a medecine-shop (don't know the english word). Apart from that: there's another selection the 6th or 7th year, where students choose a specific carrer path (surgery, brain-doctor etc...). Some ends in nearly 10 years of studying. So it's very hard to finish it with success. To be a nurse, it's another school and it last 3 years: but, like the previous one, lots of people are doing it, and you have to make stages in every medecine parts (Psychatry, child cancer, burned people, urgency) which can be hard sometimes. Really sorry for my litlle knowledge (haven't applied to medecine myself) and my poor english, but at least I hope it'll help to understand. | ||
