Think before you post. This should go without saying, there are so many people making absolutely idiotic comments in this thread. If you have nothing constructive to say, please don't say anything. |

I think we have a winner for the worst post of this thread. Care to back up any of these amazing claims?

On the other hand, this guaranteed money will kill his hunger and decrease the motivation to win further tourneys. More time for drinks yo. I personally will hate it when he joins EG, cuz in the past not one player improved after joining EG and that is bad trademark for a team. jyp improved, puma began his foreign dominance after joining eg idra rose and fell on eg machine/incontrol/lzgamer never put anything up anyway. i dont really see ur point

And iNControl made a point on his stream a couple of days ago that EG has the stigma of kind of being the "yankees" os esports. His point was that they kid of liked that tag at the EG lair cause the yankees are the best in baseball and have the money and in any business that is a good thing so go get 'em Stephano and best of luck at EG

Not sure how that's worked out for him but there you go. Not very successful. He prematurely left a few matches during the recent ASUS ROG. If it was that easy to fix i doubt he needed one... You won't see the results in maybe 6months.

come on stephano i expected some more characteristics and heart from you

Such a wonderfully toxic community we have guys. A great player is going to a good team because they offer stability and that's what he wants out of his gaming. Get over it.
+ Show Spoiler +Not to mention, he and Anna can probably talk about shoes.

He hit the nail on the head besides with the manipulative part.

It is pretty much the worst kept secret of all time. He is the best player outside of Korea maybe even top 3 in the world if he ZvZ was better and EG buy the best players. Ive been pretty frustrated by the lack of results though recently as a fan of EG. Like they have had HuK who was winning everything before he joined, Puma who is very good but seems to have a real on and off form always, JYP who ive never thought was a tournament winner even though he is really solid.
Then there is Idra, Machine and Incontrol who I really don't know why I keep hoping that they are going to do well at events, in particular Idra who ive just been hoping so much to do well but he just never lives up to that hope. As for Demuslim im actually pretty happy with how he improved the past while like every time I write him off he seems to surprise me like when he beat nestea a while back so hopefully he keeps getting better.
I hope that Thorzain, Suppy and Stephano can start to win stuff for EG because the long time players on the team aren't really giving me anything to cheer for.

wow starcraft2news on reddit was right again (he knew MC to SK 3-4 days before the announcement )

As long as EG continues to provide great long-term financial stability for their players I'll support any player joining their organization. It's really sad how EG is villified by so many within the SC2 community when they are one of the most supportive teams out there.

And like most of the great players that go to EG they become mediocre overnight. EG is a beer and lifestyle clan. Stephano should fit right in. I just wouldn't expect him to post results.

Maybe you should read posts in context. People who like Stephano but dislike EG have different view on things than a person with EG icon on his posts.

Huh ? Best offer is subjective. If his choice won't make him grow as a player, i don't see why people would keep rooting for him as a player.
what exactly could Mill offer him that EG couldnt do better?
money is obviously going to be better at EG, travel oppotunities definetly not any worse.
Mill has a training house in france, but Stephano said he didnt like it there because there was nothing to do around it, so he didnt live there anyway. EG has a US based house, which is pretty sweet when some of the many US based tournaments are going on.
Mill has a partnership with TSL, which Stephanos seemed to like, whereas EG has a partnership with SlayerS. Would he like the SlayerS house?? we don't know, but Thorzain seems to like it there, and even if he Stephano doesnt, hes not bound to stay there. look at HuK, he sayed in the OGS house while that existed and in jinro and co.'s appartment now. so its hardly unlikely that Stephano could get to stay with TSL again if he wants to.
|
Well, it looks like EG has finally completed their A team. They should get rid of the B teamers in that house and give some more up-and-comers a shot like they did for Suppy.
