It can't be late November. David Ting said it doesn't clash with MLG (Nov 2-4), WCS Finals (Nov 17-18) or DH Winter (Nov 22-25). That leaves the weekend of Nov 9-11.

We'll just have to wait until IPL or GOM confirms what's really going to happen.
What I think will happen is they do the regular GSL/GSTL season in a normal timeframe, have the ro8-finals at IPL in November, have the Blizzard Cup in December and push 2012 Season 5 to 2013. They can't rush all those seasons into there.

huh? That dates make perfect sense. GSL 4 has to finish before November. And since it starts in September, it feels just right. Takes about a month before group stages are finished and then the Ro8 to Finals weekend finish in October with IPL. The GSL schedule seems correct. Hence, IPL should be in October.

Maybe the GSL Ro8-Finals at IPL5 will be for Season 5 rather than season 4. Did they confirm that it was definitely season 4? If it was for 5 then it could be the week going in to the 2nd December to finish just in time for Blizzard Cup.

season 5 ro8-finals coullddd work if they speed it up a bit, right now ro8-finals were planned for mid-late dec for season 5 and blizzcup for dec 24-31 i think haha but afaik ipl5 is no longer ro8-finals, they're changing it
