Well, I think the marauder is fine it really helps bio to shine in SC2 but we just don't need another mech-marauder like warhound.

So people complained about the boring A-Move-Marauder, so Blizzard reacted by giving Terrans a slower, less mobile (no medivacs) A-Move-Unit that doesn't even have to stim?

If you removed the marauder and made zealots armored it'd be Broodwar all over again, Bio would never, ever be used against protoss as marines melt to anythink that even resembles splash damage.

SC2 is a great game. There are MUs that I prefer SC2's over BW's such as TvZ,TvT,ZvZ.

SC2 is a shadow of what it could have been. Judging by HotS, Blizzard hasn't even learned anything from WoL.
Unless they make radical changes to HotS, SC2 is going to die.

such a bold claim right there.
I dont see it die, but I dont see it grow with HotS either... I suspect it'll go up again for a bit after HotS get's released. But I'm afraid it'll very quickly lose a lot of players again too. I'll refrain from commenting on balance and units at least until beta. I'll just say that right now I'm pretty worried about what I've seen from HotS till now.

they could bring back lockdown for ghost and remove maauder, and remove also smart-cast, in this way terran don't need to have a protoss unit(marauder) to fight toss army, just use lockdown to block toss collossus(and without smart-cast will certain require skill)

sc2 tvz instead of BW tvz????i'm confused....
in BW tvz you can make everything you make in sc2 tvz, and much much more, also there is so many micro both from vessel, defiler, mines that is incomparable to anything sc2 can have...
I agree that warhound same as other new terran units are really straight forward but David Kim said in one of the interviews about why they are made this way. Terrans due to lack of "melee" units are forced to micro everything to stay on even foot with other races, so Blizzard decided to add more a-move units to terrans rather that make some microintensive units to other races(maybe viper is exception). Such units make boring games.
There's just so many gimmicks. Why do we need the battle hellion transformation to begin with? Normal hellions are fine as they are and the battle mode just seems like a pointless, (and boring) complication. Adding new units instead of improving the design of others and incorporating gimmicky abilities into every single unit is apparently the direction they're heading in.
There are more specific examples but it feels somewhat pointless to ramble on about what is essentially an exhibition demo.

This! WoL was never "good", it just did the bare minimum to make Starcraft survive as an esport. It could have been SO much better.
I don't think Blizzard understands what mech is... Just because it's produced out of a factory doesn't make the warhound and battle hellion anything more than glorified marauders or firebats. BW mech was beautiful because while it was slow pushes had to be majestically orchestrated to achieve maximum damage without blowing itself up. This is nothing more than a beefy a-move army. The problem with the matchup is that P had colossus, not that Terran didn't have them.
It seems to me that the warhound is less a-movish than some people think. If you watch the video: you'll see that the warhounds are firing at a nexus just before the 18:00 minutes mark. And NOT A SINGLE Haywire Missile is fired. But, right when the nexus fall and the warhounds started attacking the probes, they shots the HM.
So, it will requires micro then, if the Warhounds are not targeting Mechanicals units, they won't shot their auto-cast ability, And Toss/Terran players will have to lead the charge with Zealots, forcing Terran to focus fire Mechanical units like they are doing in ZvT Bane/Tanksfights right now.
Although i deeply regret the skin, the high speed, and the lack of TvZ use of this unit. Saying it's a-moving is stupid. We're already seeing in pro games Protoss using manual chargelotts. Mech just need to be slow, and be tank-centric, making it as powerfull as it was in the Beta. Long distance rush and some early new defenses like the 13 range mothership core allowing to defend 1/1/1 much more easily, there is no reason to make Tanks as weak as they are now. And there will be no reason to let Warhounds being so speedy.

not necessarily boring, I mean 2 of the 3 races in the game already have this option. I actually like the idea of getting at least 1 unit that doesnt need constant micro attention. In fact, most of the people I see complaining about this new amove unit are non-terrans.

its rather easy to judge how creative a new unit is and what effects its concept will have on the game.
slow mech marauders and super guardians dont exactly seem creative or fun. not even talking about the problem of more "1a" units.
its an alpha of a game... and if you break up each unit it dsnt sound too interesting, but mix them all together and who knows... but this BR is like watching some bronze PvT and calling out terran bio as a dull a-click race
they dont add unique concepts or are fun to use. they dont create create cool situations.
thats the problem when the basic design is flawed/boring. doesnt matter if its pre alpha or release day, no matter how much you fiddle around with the numbers its still a bad concept.

Perhaps. For me personally, HotS is the thing that makes me not want to play SC2 anymore. They're going the opposite way of how I hoped they would with SC2, i.e making the game hard as hell, but equally hard for all three races so that real pros could show off their skills, and everyone on ladder would have an equal time fighting because all races required at least a good bit of micro and multitasking to play properly. Right now some races are significantly easier to play than others, and Blizzard is going the route of making all races easier instead of the opposite way around. The game is going to become extremely stale extremely quick with units like the warhound and battle hellion.

People that complain the most about the A-move units in HotS are the terrans.
