You know, I don't honestly have anything against Stephano, but I just can't help but hope he gets crushed in every tournament just so I can stop having him rammed down my throat.
Life is too short to take it seriously.

Considering it was himself who asked to be released early of his contract he surely must have something planned already?

Let's face it. Computer gaming attracts a lot of socially ill-adjusted people. Naniwa doesn't know how to appropriately interact with other human beings. He doesn't have any conception of 'professional behavior'. But just because he seems completely incapable of developing these qualities doesn't mean that he should be free from criticism. Public figures are held to standards. Criticism is not necessarily 'hate'. Criticism is intended to help show someone the light, so they can adjust their behavior in the future.

Except its entirely wrong. The fact that he's been on multiple teams and is hard to work with IS relevant to a conversation about his status in regards to teams.
This thread isn't his fanclub, negative things about him SHOULD be discussed because those are the things that will dictate which team he joins next. He's undoubtedly skilled, but his abrasive nature will sure as hell stop him from joining Liquid and EG, and he's not exactly a Korean fan favourite, so you can pretty much say there's no chance of him joining a Korean team.
There. That "negative" post about him had more relevance than pointless bitching about how people should be nice all the time. That is what we call "a discussion." If we can stop polarizing between "THIS THREAD IS THE NANIWA LOVE HOUSE NO HATERZ PLZ" and "FUCK NANIWA FOR NO REASON" we can actually have that "discussion."

Teams should have people to help them with that imo, all they do now is let them sign some contract and pay some money it seems.

The community calling him "socially awkward" isnt exactly going to help. For him to get better he needs support. This is just like what Tasteless was talking about on JP's Real Talk show. Community websites and the Internet in general are just so critical and abusive simply because they have the anonymity of the Internet. Seriously, treat people on the Internet the same way you would treat someone in real life. If E-Sports is going to grow, this is where it needs to start.

Its in here somewhere, too long to find exactly where but the whole interview is amazing along with the whole show - Real Talk

Look at this. Another professor in psychoanalysis. How many are we up to at this point? I mean I already knew that the internet pretty much only consists of lawyers, psychoanalysts, and various professors and experts with 80cm dicks, but goddamn. We're getting quite a collection of them in this thread.

So you are saying that sports doesn't attract these people? I would go so far and say that we are the most calm and reasonable fans/players out of all sports.

Look at you launching an argument based entirely off of forum posts where other people said they heard that Naniwa is hard to work with. You're a drama queen. Who gives a FUCK about the circumstances behind Naniwa's team switches? How does it affect you or esports at large? The OP is not about where nani might go next, and it shows that he left Quantic on 100% good terms. Speculation about where he'll go next is pointless, why not just wait and see? Why do we need to inject negative speculation about why nani might have a hard time finding a new team? Your argument is not based on facts, it's based on hearsay. You have no fucking clue about nani's chances of finding a new team, because you're not an insider. Inserting hearsay and negative speculation on a gossipy topic into a conversation not directly concerning that topic makes you a certified drama queen. Especially when your hearsay and speculation is bound to further fuel a wildfire thread chock full of negativity.

I follow the sc2 scene for the games, and I only post in threads like these to tell people like you to stop distracting from the things real fans care about. Someone needs to do it so that other readers of the thread can see that a good portion of the community is actually reasonable. Get the fuck out of this thread and let an innocuous news story fall out of page 1.

Naniwa should get a contract where he is payed by pages in threads about him. But i doubt teams could afford this way of payment. Team Jumpers usually don't reach such a high level, it is pretty scary to imagine what Naniwa could achieve without this weakness.

A thread about a player leaving a team.
People are not allowed to talk where he might go next.
Are you freaking serious? This is what happens in EVERY thread when a player leaves a team if he doesn't switches team.
Look at the genius leaving MVP, Ganzi and Teaja leaving Slayers. Its just part of the thread. Naniwa just has a bit more complicated history then most. And please stop thnking you are the standard of it all should be. Fine, you don't care about certain team stuff, other people do, let them talk about it. Teams are a major part in SC2 since it partially decides the future of the player.

In the olympics section of TL most posters defend the badminton players who tried desperately not to win in order to get an easier opponent in the next round. Meanwhile alot of TL posters still haven't forgiven Naniwa for his probe rush. Sigh.

I hope Naniwa finds a team where he can feel at home. I don't like bm from Naniwa or any other player but the Naniwa threads are really getting out of hand.

how has the badminton thing anything to do with the probe rush?

Naniwa to join SK and live in the IM house to practise full time, he'll only go to dreamhack + MLG championships so he can focus on GSL and GSTL with IM.
