This sounds really cool! I look forward to seeing how KeSPA matches up

I'm siding with the GSL players strongly. I find it hard to believe that the KESPA players are already at the Code S level. They should be good, but not top-of-the-world-bleeding-edge good. That's how good they're going to need to be to beat the variety pack Gom can send out.

It sounds like GOM want to crush KeSPA before they can gain traction with their "Dual Tournament" style.

dont underestimate bw pros. bw pros training regime> current sc2 pros. that said they will lose since u cant win by practicing 1-3 months against someone who have a full year or 2 on ya.

Sorry to ask that but some peeps here claim that some kespa player are already KR-GM in less than 3 months of practice, do you have a source or something?

Yea, so many useless dumb comments......

I wonder if GOM will field more Code A players than S to give it more of a close feel. The BW pros are definitely good, but they are behind in the meta game, and definitely don't have the experience that the GOM players do. Looking forward to seeing this either way. Seeing the KeSPA players play each other doesn't really showcase their talent. Seeing them in something like this will definitely be awesome

While most KeSPA player plays as barcode (so people can't easily scout them), you can see that Stork is #185.

Everyone will be rooting for the underdog KeSPA players, which is the only reason I can think of that would make KeSPA go along with this.

Cool, as mentioned already I think they should take the best Kespa zerg and pit them vs a medium code S Terran to try and get the Kespa guys a W. As long as the Kespa Terrans are doing a TvT or TvP I think they can show a good entertaining match.

Its even more impressive when you take into consideration that there's a significant percentage of KR-GM made up of KeSPA after only 12 weeks.

In Korea, their names are a bit bigger. They needs reps. This is a good way of doing so.

Guys honestly being GM really doesn't mean that much at all. A lot of these guys were going to hit that mark regardless.

I have to say it over and over. There is a huge division between the GM players alone.

Being GM isn't enough.

It's not enough to perform well consistently in tournaments, sure. For a show match like this, being GM (or even high master) is decent enough.

It might not be enough to beat the current Code S players(We shall see!). But you can't downplay its impressiveness... 12 weeks gotten into GM WHILE still having to practice bw at the same time!
