People seem really ignorant about the skill level of the BW pros in sc2. they aren't very good right now. Roro is the best and he's not close to the foreigners in korea right now.

they'll obviously get better but. anyone whose seen PL knows the games look like random ladder matches from a masters NA player.

The BW pros are going to get absolutely rocked right now. Should be fun to watch anyway though.

Coaches and players say things such as give us a 1 year and we will become GREAT but lets be honest here, they don't need 1 year they are being modest, taking the pressure off themselves, and also telling people to calm down/relax. What has now happened? Close to everyone thinks these SC:BW players will get OWNED by SC2 pros, people dont even know how long they been training for couldve been months to a year you think they will be telling everyone the truth?

my prediction effort is gonna be the rising star of the sc:bw players and show everyone what it truly takes to play zerg.

You've not seen the MLG KeSPA invitationnal, have you ?

I truly enjoyed it, had nerd chills every single game, and I was very happy with the level of play i've seen. Though, you could still see their play did not match with the mid-tier/top-tier SC2 pro's (just watch Stork/Bisu placing FF, it wasn't very good).

I agree that they'll catch up quickly, and probably faster than what people may think, but just not while they're playing the OSL. It just not possible.

I don't know how we could rank them among all the SC2 progamers, but surely not as high as GSL participants...

Of course i watched it, i probably watch more Kespa matches than most people here. You actually think those players really care about a tournament that barely has any meaning to them? Flash proxy raxed so many times when he was playing, you telling me he did that just because he thought Protoss is OP?

HotS is coming out, SC2 METAGAME will change completely and with the minimal time i seen SC:BW adapt its amazing. Just watch the SC:BW players are gonna take back there throne and show people who are truly the STARS of the scene is and i am one of the people that WANT SC2 players to dominate these Kespa pros.

I truly believe its not Foreigners VS Koreans anymore. Its gonna change to SC2 Originals VS SC:BW Originals

Yup thats pretty interesting story-line that cooked almost itself (ekhm..).

Most succesful BW guys have already plenty of trophies and money (TBLS). The whole SC2 is pretty new experience for them, it was maaaany years past since they felt like "rookies". And in fact ALL of Kespa players are rookies of SC2 right now, including Flash, pretty interesting considered their past careers and standindgs. You can feel they have mixed emotions and goals but this fact may invigorate some of them to try hard to get it back, and obstacles will probably rather help than harm. Its all about their remaining desire and ambition.

Well this should be....Entertaining.

If they play at their MLG level this will be painfully one-sided, if they got alot better we might be in for a treat tho.

Dammit they should just trash the dual game PL format so that they can have 100% focus on SC2 after this OSL.

No as in trash the format now. PL isn't going to end till September/October IIRC, so their focus is still going to be split up until then.

I hope kespa plans on doing it, the BW games arent particular good at all these days and it will only get worse with the ending of OSL. Since none of the BW gamers will play much BW at that point

That's a good thing for the Kespa players since the first two games are anonymous.
If in the third game, when the names are anounced, are two GOM players, nobody knows, which Kespa players have lost before.
And if one Kespa player reaches the third game, it is a huge success for him.

I just hope we can see this outside of Korea!!

After this PL finals, PL will make the switch to SCToo full-time
