I will be very very surprised if a KESPA player wins a single match.

To most of people who think SC1 players will get destroyed. In the beginning i been saying, don't over hype these guys its a new game to them they aren't going to master it for awhile. But if people have been watching the Proleague you see a instant/drastic improvement to there players. Coaches and players say things such as give us a 1 year and we will become GREAT but lets be honest here, they don't need 1 year they are being modest, taking the pressure off themselves, and also telling people to calm down/relax. What has now happened? Close to everyone thinks these SC:BW players will get OWNED by SC2 pros, people dont even know how long they been training for couldve been months to a year you think they will be telling everyone the truth?

my prediction effort is gonna be the rising star of the sc:bw players and show everyone what it truly takes to play zerg.

You've not seen the MLG KeSPA invitationnal, have you ?

They didn't send effort at that tournament. Leta represented CJ.

And ? I think he could have very well ended up winning the whole thing, still, i don't see them beating GSL-level players...

DRG and Symbol wouldn't stand a chance against flash and bisu in broodwar . I won't be surprised if bisu actually play badly against drg because currently bisu isn't getting use to sc2 at all and is not adapting . Good luck to bw pro gamers and let's hope the games doesn't end in one engagement into gg.

Assuming this is for entertainment value. I think PvZ and TvT would be good matchups to show, since TvZ is difficult right now.

Either way, the KESPA players lose, unless they send some bottom Code A players from the GOM side of things.

Except they aren't. Because, you know, they're high master/GM on the Korean server, which is far better than masters NA.

Considering many of them have reached GM level on Korea server, you don't seem to know what you are talking about.

Many players are able to get GM level on Korea server... IdrA was like rank 60 or something iirc.

Yes, and idrA is really really f-ing good. What is your point ?

He's saying that a foreigner who has barely been putting up any results at all for the past 3 months can get into GM on the KR server.

KeSpa players are just gonna get buttfucked, this is way too early for them to start even competing in code A level play. Flash and BaBy are probably the only ones who can maybe barely make it past round 3 or 4 of the Code A qualifiers, wayy too early to embarrass them like this.

So because idrA doesn't win stuff all of the time the kespa players will lose to the GSL players. I don't get it.

idrA is top GM on NA and GM on KR.

It is funny how ppl like you guys keep using the "omg he hasn't won anything lately and therefore he must be bad" argument. It doesn't work like that. There is a whole bunch of players at the absolute top who hasn't showed any special results in a while. That doesn't make them bad. Why is that ?

Well, there are only so many tournaments , and each tournament can only have one winner ...

Yes, and that's why esports is not for any1. It's hard to win and a career is build of wins. No wins, no nothing. Tought.

And still, winning on the ladder doesn't grant code S skill.

Being GM on whatever server means very, very little. It's been said a number of times just because your GM doesn't necessarily mean you're very good. Oh no. We can seperate the pros into several divisions themselves.

You guys generalize waaaay too much and thinking only Flash (who isn't even playing at a 50% win rate) and BaBy could compete with the big boys?

Shesh. It's going to take months to re-wire their brains into thinking about the game properly. The star sense isn't there yet. Wait for the ridiculous plays to ensue. It will come.

Absolute top? No, no, no. lol

You obviously don't know what the top is and the top is ever changing at the same time.

This seems a bit early... GSL Code S and Code A players should wipe the floor with KeSPA players at the moment.
Go here http://vina.biobiochile.cl/ and input the Konami Code (up up down down left right left right B A)

Hopefully it will be fun to watch even if there is skill disparity
But they should wait until after OSL, then BW is done for me.
SPL mixed format is just lame.
