Probably "I would not be surprised if he is in Code A or, if he is not in Code A, qualifies in Code A in near future".

But it might be too hard for BW elitism to be tolerant, and for SC2 arrogance to respect its elder. It is a bit hard when there are posts like the elephant one where people said they'd win Code S in their first month(Such as those who though Forgg would win it easy after 3-6 months of practice). I want the Kespa players to get good as fast as possible but anyone who looks at it objectively would have to admit that at best there are 1-2 Kespa players who could be in code S and stay there(I feel I'm being generous with that too)

I wouldn't be surprised one bit, if the ST player was Tiger.

Khaldor said the GSL players are definitely at least Code A and "or better" implies recent Code S experience. Add in the playstyle and we have a strong case for AcE.

At the time when the Elephant in the Room was written, it was perfectly reasonnable. Obiously, one year later it's a bit harder.

I wouldn't say Code S, but Code A could be possible. Still, this showmatch is one BW pros (and though I know quite little about BW aside from the big names, sHy isn't the best one...) against a quite good SC2 pro, but terrible in this match-up. There's not much to get out of this, just that the skill gap may not be as wide as we may think, but still exists...
And this was a showmatch. It wasn't like a tournament where you get to know your opponent at least one week prior to the match...

not true at all. broodwar will be dead in 2 weeks. loving broodwar just for its history is the sc2 arrogance you are talking about. imagine they ban your game in a few days from professional esports to nothing. sc2 may be a good game (maybe even the best game ever, i dont know) but it has nothing to deal with the fact that we broodwar fans feel sad and cheated that "our players" are forced to play it instead of our game. you may say this is an old discussion but it never become less true.

The account http://twitch.com/GOMTV seems to have listing of stream recordings disabled.

Whilst his record isn't outstanding sHy has shown he can play all styles, standard games, creative plays and strong micro/decent macro play. Had he been placed on a stronger team (no hate against oz, fav team) I think he'd be a lot further along today, but he's still young and has a bright future.

No it isn't. Someone new to the scene can love bw only for it's history, for he never experienced it. (not making myself better or quoted person new..) I can understand how you feel, but let's not see things as black and white atm. There is a change going on, but don't act like a person on one/both side(s) is responsible for it or constantly rub in your own grief. Not everyone is emotionally bound to bw as you are. (no disrespect intended)

I think you're SOL for watching the Khaldor re-cast since gom has video recordings disabled. But you should be able to find the korean commentary online somewhere.

No i don't. i dont know whats going on in this forum but i realized that there is a "new respect" in between those two scenes. but im not interested in talking about those scenes or anything similar. and im not interested in pointing out differences between the games or people who like it. i dont make anyone here responsible for what is happening in korean esports. not at all. i just say my game dies, you don't know how i feel and please please please stop stop stop advising me what i have to do or not and please please please stop stop stop laying your hand on my shoulder and say life goes on. yes i know that. but it has nothing to deal with what i tried to say. it is NOT a bw/sc2 discussion. it is a bw is dying statement and i feel sad and betrayed and angry and i dont want to hear anything of bw fanatics are stupid because blabla. then you are thinking black and white (while i only think black (or white, what ever broodwar is)).
